Gaza is heading toward a new famine as the entry of vegetables and essential food supplies continues to be blocked. Markets have become nearly empty, even though merchants pay fees to bring in goods. The control over food and the deprivation of civilians of their basic needs raise concerns that starvation is once again being used as a tool to pressure the civilian population. There are no words that can truly explain the emptiness left behind when someone is taken from us far too soon. Watching this video of Kohen brings back so many emotions—love, heartbreak, disbelief, and that aching feeling of wishing we could turn back time and have just one more moment with him. 💔 It hurts knowing there are memories that will never get to be made, conversations that will never happen, and a future that should have been his. Kohen was more than a name or a story—he was someone deeply loved, someone who mattered, someone whose presence made a difference.
