A huge thank you to Edinburgh College and our wonderful friend Andy Duncan for helping us with our Tinderbox Orchestra / Samata Recording Project.

Over the past few months we have been working on some new arrangements and
collaborations with the Samata Collective and cannot wait to share what we have been working on!

The @samata_collective is an international collective of arts organisations who meet online, organise hybrid events, do in-person exchanges, international gatherings and festivals and touring Productions.

Come see us for a special Samata Hybrid Performance next Sunday (7th June) at @hiddendoorarts from 1.15pm-2.15pm in the Tinderbox Room To Play.

The event is FREE and will feature some performances of new collaborations and some special guests from Kenya and India.

Tinderbox Collective are back at @hiddendoorarts with a full programme of live performance taking place in our Room To Play space.

Room to Play is an immersive installation and performance space that places audiences inside a playful but evocative vision of contemporary tech culture. Bringing together artists, performers and young creatives, the project runs throughout the festival as both a daytime exhibition and a nightly live venue.

Embedded in Room to Play is a daily programme of unique, boundary-pushing acts, including: Curious Seed’s MAINTAIN dancers & music tech improv group Dead Fly; international arts collective Samata Collective with a hybrid event featuring international guests; FABRICATION hosted by Boardgame featuring Aurora Engine and other guests; Edinburgh based Deep Sea Creature and North by North West a full day event showcasing up-and-coming Scottish youth acts.

Thank you, Samata Collective & Partners!

At the Rona Centre, your visit was more than a moment—it was a movement.
We laughed, danced, and co-created art that inspired our children and widows to dream beyond boundaries.

Even here, in our lakeshore village of Bondo, you reminded us we are globally rooted, building allies for change.

Erokamano. Together, we rise! 🌍✨
