Art of Soccer Training is 4 years old (tomorrow)🎉🎂

Thank you to everyone who has made this possible. Fellow coaches, parents, players, my family and my wife. We could not have done this without you.

Year 5 is going to be crazy (wait for this summer👀)

This year I want to give 4 lessons Ive learned over the years.

1. It’s easy to outwork others.

No, this is not an ego thing. Over the years Ive learned not many people want to put in the time to get better in business and in soccer. “It’s too hot, Im too tired, thats too many sessions, have to play roblox.” I think players who are serious about the sport should see that as an advantage. I think people who want better in life should take advantage of it as well.

2. No one cares about you unless you can offer them something.

Sounds cruel but it is true. The soccer world is cutthroat. If you don’t perform, you don’t play. If I don’t improve a player, I lose a client. It’s natural. It also raises the standard and forces you to be better. And hopefully Im better for my soccer players/parents who have trusted me all these years.

3. What we want to achieve at AOS.

This was always difficult for me. What do I want the players to get out of our program? When I first started coaching about 5-6 years ago, I always said I want to develop pros. I understand I can’t do that by myself. I think this past year, the focus has been on getting the player to a point where they don’t need AOS anymore. Of course we want players to come back to our trainings, but hopefully they are able to take from it and train on their own or apply the things they have learned and apply it at different programs.

4. It’s simple, but not easy.

Everyone knows the secret to success. The blueprint is out there. Everyone knows what to do, thats the simple part…BUT it is not easy to actually do it. To get up every single day and put in the work, whether its school, business, or soccer. It’s not always fun to train. I dont always want to coach. But I still get up every single day and do it.

2025: Best Year Yet

Wow. 2025 has been an absolute insane year.

We took the leap and went full time into Art of Soccer Training. ⚽️❤️

I got married to my best friend @shannon_colacci 💍

Went to Spain for our honeymoon and got to watch one of the best El Clasico games of all time (4-3 W for the good guys @fcbarcelona ) 🔵🔴

Created tournament teams and did 5v5 and 3v3 during the summer. ✅

Had our biggest camp yet with 60+ players in attendance ✅

Played with @sarasotaparadise in the US Open Cup and assisted my brother @nicocolacci for our only goal ✅

Created a summer training program for like minded individuals who really want to improve. We will be bringing that back starting in 2 weeks. ✅

Ran Street Soccer throughout the summer ✅

Thanks to @abilitytoinclude we were able to get a Street Soccer Court Approved here in Lakewood Ranch🎉

Ran a Free clinic with hometown legends and friends @rodriguezdevelopmentacademy @sambasoccertraining @dube_jake @logan_moriarty and had 75+ players in attendance

Went to the 5v5 National Tournament in Orlando ✅

Ran a futsal tournament w/ @abilitytoinclude ✅

Ran our very 1st Winter Camp ✅

Don’t know how I am going to top that…but we are going to try.

So we are starting 2026 with a bang💥

Sold out camp with MLS pro @josh_bauer Jan. 3-4 😤

Thank you to @shannon_colacci @nico_colacci @bena_espinal @danielson_hernandez4 @zaidibsais3 @ryannm.37 @gavinpetricca.5 @reidscur08

I could not have done these camps or programs without your help. I appreciate it so much.

Thank you to all the players and parents who have trusted us this year. Whether you only trained with us once or a million times…we truly appreciate you.

We genuinely want the best for the players and we are going to keep helping our local players until we no longer can.

Thank you all for allowing me to teach the beautiful game ⚽️

Here’s to 2026 🍾
