“How do I use Instagram?” - Me 🇰🇷🇺🇸 Korean American Voice Actor (Profile still cooking!!)

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Shout out to all my former students (and step-students) for their nominations at the SG Awards today.

I had only been teaching very briefly by the time these rolled around last year, so the experience of looking at those nominations today was an incredibly different experience. Watching the way all of you have grown into your confidence, your ability, and your communion with each other over the last year and change has been an honor and a constant source of joy in my life.

Improv isn't a competition. There are no real "winners", but I know first-hand that being noticed, being appreciated, being seen for that unique *thing* only you can bring to the stage means something. (Do I still have my two consecutive SG Awards for Most Physical Performer? Look at the picture, and you tell me.)

There are so many incredibly kind, funny, insightful, generous, vulnerable, supportive, engaged people making their way through the levels at @stompinggroundcomedy right now, and to have been the first stop for many of you on this journey is a thrill and a half.

The downside of having SO MANY amazing people in the pipeline is that there isn't enough room for everyone in these categories. Sometimes there might not yet be a category to honor that extra spark you bring.

To a handful of you that weren't nominated for anything today but ARE tagged in this post (and a few of you who are not on Instagram or do not allow tagging and, thus, will probably never see this) ... I just want you to know: At least one person voted for you. I noticed. :)

Had a blast the last few times I was in Texas.

Between @animefrontiertx, learning how to do anime dubbing, and connecting with actor friends down in Dallas, it’s been a crazy month and some change…

Counting down the days until I return.

I’ll be back 💪💪💪
