This is only the Beginning for you 💫 Congratulations @nicolepuelloo of the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 for making the TOP18 at @missgrandinternationalallstars Coronation Night. 👏👏👏

A breathtaking fuchsia custom masterpiece by yours truly @raus1983 that radiates glamour, confidence, and elegance on stage. Adorned with intricate crystal embellishments over a sheer illusion silhouette, the gown beautifully accentuates the figure while creating a dazzling sparkle under the lights. Its dramatic mermaid skirt and flowing ruffled train add movement and grandeur, making it a true show-stopping pageant ensemble.

Apriel Smith’s Miss Charm Philippines 2026 crown isn’t even cold yet, but the drama surrounding it is already boiling. Miss Charm, Vietnam’s pride and a Big 7 pageant, has now been slapped from two directions at once by the Philippine camp.

It all started when the official Instagram account of Miss Universe Philippines Cebu 2026 suddenly uploaded a plain black background with a mourning vibe. The timing was brutal: exactly when Cebu’s representative, Apriel Smith, was announced as the winner of the Miss Charm Philippines 2026 crown.

Miss Charm isn’t some low-tier pageant. This is a Big 7 contest with an official mission to promote Vietnam’s education, culture, and tourism. But for MUPH Cebu, Apriel’s participation there felt like a day of mourning.

Netizens immediately decoded it: “Cebu lost a potential queen, who was instead sent to a pageant they consider second-tier.” A subtle but cutting jab.

Before the black-post drama died down, a second bomb exploded. Brusas Sam, a.k.a. Mama Sam, the number one pageant vlogger in the Philippines who also served as the one who crowned Apriel Smith, joined in the attack.

His own hands placed the crown on Apriel’s head on stage. But on Facebook, Mama Sam wrote:

“I believe she is worthy of a more prestigious title than Miss Charm, but this is a new challenge for her laban lang Apriel Smith.”

“More prestigious than Miss Charm” — that sentence says it all. In his eyes, Miss Charm is just a stepping stone. Not on the same level as other, more prestigious pageants.

Mama Sam added fuel in the comments: “Kaloka prro laban lang”, which can be translated as “This is crazy, but just keep going.” A condescending tone, as if Apriel was “forced” to take Miss Charm because she couldn’t get a title at a more prestigious pageant, like Miss Supranational.

This isn’t just shade. This is a legitimacy crisis. While Miss Charm is fighting hard to rise as a Big 7 pageant, it’s being stabbed from within by an important figure from the Philippines’ own national organization + mourned by her former “home,” MUPH Cebu.

Apriel’s crown now feels hot. Not from the stage lights, but from the drama burning it from both sides.
