A LETTER TO MY DEAR SON ON HIS 11TH BIRTHDAY ❤️

My dear Jedidiah,

It’s been 11 years since heaven smiled on us and gifted us this amazing, smart, and compassionate soul. Eleven beautiful years of loving you, watching you grow, and witnessing the incredible things God is doing in your life.

Jedidiah. Omooba. Adeoluwa. Tisan.

I am so proud of you, son! Thank you for adding your unique flavour, colour, and joy to our lives. You have made our world richer simply by being you.

I remember the excruciating pain your mum went through and the emotional trauma I endured watching her bring you into the world. I remember swearing, “Never again!” 😂 But alas, nothing compares to the joy you have brought us since you arrived.

You are indeed JEDIDIAH — the beloved of the Lord, the ultra-upgraded, newer, heaven’s better version of me! You are a beautiful reminder that God can take what He has deposited in one generation and express it in even more glorious ways in the next.

As you turn 11 today, I bless you from the depths of my heart.

May God establish you firmly in His will and cause you to soar to heights with ease. May you enjoy divine guidance and covering, unlimited favour, and unending joy. May your heart always remain tender towards God and compassionate towards people. May you grow in wisdom, excel in all you do, and become a man whose life brings glory to God and makes the world a better place.

May you never lose the beautiful essence of who you are. May you be courageous enough to stand for what is right, humble enough to keep learning, and wise enough to walk in God's purpose for your life.

**You are deeply loved, Jed. More than words can ever fully express.**

Your mum, Zoe, Jemima, and I love you so dearly. Being your parents is one of God's greatest gifts to us, and we count it a privilege to watch you become all He has designed you to be.

Happy 11th birthday, my beloved son!

Keep growing. Keep shining. Keep becoming.

The world is waiting for the man you are becoming, but never forget that you will always be my little boy. ❤️

With all my love,

**Daddy**

Over 40 men gathered for our September edition of The King’s Men Hangout and what a powerful experience it was!

The conversations were honest, rich and deeply impactful, creating a safe space for men to connect, learn, reflect and grow without judgment.

We are building a brotherhood of emotionally whole, purpose-driven and spiritually grounded men; one conversation at a time.

It was a privilege to speak at the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 on advancing mental health and positive masculinity for men and boys.

One point remains clear: we need more successful men to model vulnerability sharing not only their achievements, but also their failures and lessons.

𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬; 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨.
Let us invest more in the boy child, because 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

I commend the 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 for dedicating an entire session to this important conversation.

The recent report of a Nigerian-British man who died following complications from a penis-enlargement procedure is deeply tragic.

Beyond the headlines, however, is a conversation we must not ignore: many men are silently battling insecurity, shame, comparison and the pressure to prove their masculinity.

Unfortunately there aren't enough safe spaces where men can admit their fears, ask honest questions or seek help without being mocked.

This is why every man should be at The King’s Men Hangout this September.

It is more than an event. It is a safe community where men can:

- have honest conversations without condemnation;
- receive wisdom and support from other men;
- redefine masculinity beyond money, muscles and sexual performance;
- build emotional strength, confidence and healthy relationships; and
- discover that asking for help is not weakness—it is wisdom.

A man should never have to destroy himself trying to prove that he is enough.

This Sunday, 13th September 2026, join us at The King’s Men Hangout.

Come as you are. Speak without shame. Listen without judgement. Connect with men who understand that true strength is not pretending to have no struggles; it is having the courage to face them.

Strong men need safe spaces too.

Last Friday, I had the privilege of facilitating a session on “Communication, Complaint Handling, Service Recovery and Customer Loyalty” at the CadSync Consults Customer Service Clinic.

It was an engaging and insightful session focused on helping professionals communicate effectively, manage customer complaints, recover from service failures, and transform difficult customer experiences into opportunities for trust and lasting loyalty.

Thank you, @cadsyncconsults for the opportunity to contribute to this impactful learning experience.
