My Experience on The Hitman Set
“I have had a lot of experience in filming but my experience on the set of “The Hitman” was different, being a crew and a cast member at the same time, wow. I won’t lie to you; filming demands more than dedication and for the course of this series, I think I was more than dedicated. It all began when I was selected as a crew then a cast.

In filming The Hitman, it was a great experience working with new and more people. We shot through crazy weather conditions and on one day of shooting, we were on set shooting for almost 18-20 hours, yes 20 whole hours, from one morning till the next morning. I didn’t believe it was possible too 😂. We had several meetings even at crucial times towards making this filming a great success and here we are, THE HITMAN, AN ABSOLUTE CINEMA! Just wait till it’s out. The work that was put into this series was the love and passion for Art. I learnt more than I’ve ever known filming on this set. Thanks to a great Director and Producer, A PERFECT WRITER PICTURE for bringing me onboard.”

Watch Out for The Hitman Coming to YouTube - Michael Okpala TV - October 30th!

There is trouble lurking. The trouble did not begin today.
It began long ago, when we believed that things like this don’t happen in Nigeria. But it does.

On October 19, 1986, journalist Dele Giwa opened a parcel at his home in Lagos. It was a bomb. He died from his injuries shortly afterwards. His killers have never been convicted.

Fifteen years later, on December 23, 2001, Justice Minister Bola Ige was shot dead inside his home in Ibadan.

Again, questions.
Again, suspects.
Again, no definitive answer.

Then, July 27, 2006.

Funsho Williams.
A politician preparing for the 2007 elections. He was found murdered in his Lagos home.

And suddenly, assassination didn’t sound like something from a foreign movie anymore. But perhaps the most frightening question isn’t who died?

It is…

Who killed them? We give them names that make them easier to understand. But before they became killers… they were human beings.

Someone’s son. Someone’s brother. Someone’s friend.

So when does an ordinary person become capable of taking another human life? And how does a man become a monster…

You call him an assassin.
Gunman. Bandit. Criminal.
Here, we call him…

Keep your eyes peeled for what’s to come. There’s an entire underground universe to uncover!
