Exploring New Avenues for Taiwan–South India Collaboration 🇹🇼🇮🇳

On September 11, 2026, a productive meeting took place between Director-General Stephen S. C. Hsu of TECC Chennai and Mr Sameer Bharath Ram, exploring opportunities for collaboration across media and culture, cinema, sports, and entrepreneurship.

The discussion highlighted ideas ranging from Taiwan–South India cultural and media exchanges, film collaborations, grassroots sports initiatives, and investment opportunities.

The conversation also explored ways to strengthen people-to-people connections and create new platforms for collaboration between Taiwan and South India.

#GadiMelaDekho — OUT NOW🔥

Today marks 4 years of Natchathiram Nagargiradhu an album people still come back to me about, telling me how much the music impacted their lives.

After Natchathiram Nagargiradhu and working with Pa. Ranjith Sir, I was looking for a completely different challenge.

At the time, I was experimenting with contemporary sounds, new forms of production and different ways of bringing words and music together. I wanted to push that language further.

That’s when #KabhiKabhi came to me. I chose to work on it because I saw an opportunity to build something experimental with a young team, many making their debuts.

My music team came along for every experiment, strange decision and left turn. I absolutely adore what they have done. @kjjagan2 sir and @philaudiosophical

We made a wild album.

A big thank you to @thinkmusicofficial for commissioning me, and a shout out to Super Talkies and Sameer Bharath Ram for supporting young talents.

Gadi Mela Dekho is the first taste of it.

This is also my next release with Yasin. I’m really happy watching people discover and celebrate what a talented rapper he is. We have a lot more coming🧨

All the very best to Madan @layboy.official_ on his debut as an actor and director.

Movies like G.D.N are rare.

We have seen The Man Who Knew Infinity, The Imitation Game and many others about people who changed the world. They don’t just tell us what they did. They make us think about how they did it.

Imagine the first person who invented the bicycle. Two wheels, and you are supposed to balance yourself while moving. How many people would have thought, “How is this even possible?”

The blue LED took decades and was called physically impossible by the field. One man kept going anyway, alone, with almost no support from his own company. Today it’s the reason your phone screen and every white LED bulb exists.

That’s the thing about inventions. Once something works, we forget how impossible it must have looked before it worked.

We see the result, but we don’t see the belief that came before it.
That’s what I loved about G.D. Naidu. Looking back today, some of what he did doesn’t look extraordinary. But with the resources he had, what he achieved was remarkable.

And this is especially important in India.

Think about the kid in school who loves science. For many, a science exhibition might be the only place they get to express an idea. And sometimes even that opportunity gets decided by marks.

In college, it could be a paper presentation or a project, and even there, passion gets judged by semester results rather than thinking.

We are very good at measuring what a student knows. I don’t think we are nearly as good at recognising what a student could discover.
That’s why movies like this matter, especially for kids. They need to see people who looked at something everyone thought was impossible and asked, “What if?”

“Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.”

Every invention we take for granted was once someone’s strange idea. Before proof, there was belief.

I don’t usually write about movies, but this one stayed with me.

@actormaddy brother, you did something similar with Rocketry. I really hope you continue making films like this.

People like us who love science need them. More importantly, the next generation needs them. Kudos to you for making this.

Four years later, I am incredibly grateful to be back in Tamil cinema with #KabhiKabhi

To everyone who has stayed with me through my film scores and independent music, thank you. Every message, every DM and every tweet has meant more than you know.

The last four years have been a period of rebuilding. I had to make some difficult decisions and rethink the kind of life and career I wanted to build.

Looking back, maybe everything happened exactly when it was supposed to.

Now,a new chapter begins.

My heartfelt thanks to Director Madan, Producer Sameer Bharath Ram and Think Music for believing in me and giving me the freedom to make this album. I couldn’t have imagined a better film to begin this chapter.

For years many of you have called my music “underrated.”I know it comes from a place of love, but I think it’s time we retire that word.

Let’s give this music the audience it deserves.🚀

Over the next few months you’ll hear seven songs from this soundtrack. This is the most playful, eclectic and fearless film album I have made, and the first one I have composed with complete peace of mind.

When the songs release, I have one request.
