Dear friends, for the rest of this week I will be appealing to my networks to help me raise $$$ for my friend Sameh in Gza.

I realise these posts tend to get less visibility but I really need to reach a greater audience - so that Sameh can save money to buy a computer. He is a graphic designer but has not been able to work since the gen0 cyde began. More than anything, Sameh wants to be independent and self sufficient. He does not want to have to constantly ask random strangers and friends for $$$, he wants to earn this for himself so he can support his family and pay for his wedding.

Over the next week, 50% of proceeds from any sales I make on t shirts, hoodies or tote bags will be gifted to Sameh. Now is the time to wear your solidarity loud and proud, there is no better way than on a piece of clothing! I have lots of designs to choose from; in this post I am showing you one design which come in crop and longer relaxed t-shirt and hoodie styles.

If you are unable to buy anything, please interact with and engage with this post. Use a hashtag or tag someone you know who might want to order something, or who can share this with their networks. Sameh hardly ever asks for help and I would love to be able to give him just a little bit of help. Let Sameh know that he is not alone and we have not forgotten his struggles 🙏🏽

My darling friends, I am organising a fundr@is3r for my friend Sameh in Gza. He is a graphic designer and longs to return to the work force so he can become self sufficient and look after his family. He does not want to keep relying on d0n@tions which are often unreliable and inconsistent anyway.

He needs to raise $3000 USD to buy a new computer so he can start working. The best thing any of us can do right now is help P@lestini@ns become self sufficient. So, for the next week, I will be d0n@ting 50% of the profits from the sale of any of my t-shirts, hoodies or tote bags to Sameh!

Today is the 1 year anniversary of the death of our darling Iyas. I spent a long time trying to write the best caption to honour him, but honestly there are words to express the grief we all still feel at his martyrdom. One year later and the pain of his loss is still as raw as the day he was killed.

There are so many things to say about Iyas and all the incredible things he accomplished in his short life. He was in fact an exceptional person who achieved exceptional things under the most challenging circumstances. But above all, I know that I will remember him for his unwavering generosity, humility and kindness. He was gracious and sweet and humble even whilst the bombs were dropping all around him and his loved ones were being wiped off the face of the earth. I was, and continue to be, in awe of his genuine goodness and his hope for a better life for all Palestinians. I am just so deeply saddened that he did not survive to see a liberated Palestine.

I want to express my love to Iyas’s family and friends who had the honour of living life with him. May your grief and pain be eased knowing that Iyas is at peace and surrounded by eternal love.

Iyas, we all miss you so much. We will never forget you and the beautiful soul that you are. We love you ♥️

This Mother's Day I wanted to take a moment to honor the mums in Gaza. The mums I know and those I don't. Each nurturing a universe while the world around her collapses. Each trying her best to make every moment special for her loved ones.

Then there are mothers who lost their children and children who have lost their mothers. There are families separated by forced distances and families in exile.

Each story in Falasteen is different from the other. They all face unique challenges because of the unspeakable circumstances enforced upon them.

So what can we do?

What can we do to show our solidarity?

Solidarity is a verb. We need to channel it in our actions through boycotts and divestments. We must also continously support families through consistent donations.
