Episode 3 | Part 4 🎮✨

We had to end the day the only way we knew how… with a little friendly competition at Spare Time Greensboro! 😂

After brunch at Easy Like Sunday, drinks at Dram & Draught, and dinner at Strike & Flame, we wrapped up an unforgettable day with arcade games, laughs, and way too much competition. 🏆🎟️

This is exactly what Summer in the City is all about—exploring the Triad, supporting local businesses, and making memories with amazing creators.

Huge thanks to G for spending the day with us! 💛

Would you rather dominate the arcade or hit the bowling lanes? 👀👇

☀️ SUMMER IN THE CITY | EPISODE 3

Every great day deserves a moment to slow down.

Before ending the night with bowling and arcade games, we stopped by Dram & Draught in downtown Greensboro to unwind with handcrafted cocktails and even learn about one of the oldest bottles behind the bar.

One of the coolest parts of the visit was hearing the stories behind the drinks and getting a closer look at the incredible bottle collection that stretches from floor to ceiling.

The atmosphere was relaxed, the conversations were even better, and it reminded us that sometimes the best part of exploring a city is discovering places you might’ve otherwise walked right past.

If you’re looking for a unique date night spot, a place to catch up with friends, or somewhere to enjoy a well-crafted cocktail, this is definitely worth checking out.

☀️ SUMMER IN THE CITY | EPISODE 2

After brunch, it was time to get a little creative. 🕯️✨

Our next stop was Strike & Flame, where we each created our own custom candles from scratch—and honestly, this ended up being one of the coolest experiences of the day.

Here’s how it works:
✨ Choose your fragrance blend
🕯️ Pick your vessel
🏷️ Create your custom candle name
🥄 Mix your oils with the wax
⏳ Stir for three minutes
🔥 Pour your candle and let it cure

The scent wall alone was enough to keep us busy! Everyone built completely different fragrance combinations, and it was fun seeing how each person’s personality came through in their final candle.

Watching Eli approach candle making like a chemistry experiment might’ve been my favorite part. 😂

The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, walked us through every step, and even sent us home with a snack while our candles cured.

If you’re looking for something unique to do around Greensboro, we’d definitely recommend adding Strike & Flame to your list.

☀️ SUMMER IN THE CITY | EPISODE 2 🍳🥞

The first stop on today’s adventure? Easy Like Sunday—because every great Sunday starts with brunch! 🧡

We met up with creators from across North Carolina to kick off another episode of Summer in the City, and let’s just say… those Churro Pancakes definitely stole the show! 🤤🥞

Here’s what we ordered:
🥞 Churro Pancakes + Bacon
🍳 The Little Bit of Everything (Bacon)
🍳 The Little Bit of Everything (Sausage)
🍑 Peach Lavender Mimosa
🥂 Classic Mimosas

Now, keeping it real—we did experience a wait both to be seated and for our food. Thankfully, the staff acknowledged it and even surprised us with complimentary mimosas while we waited, which we really appreciated.

Once the food arrived, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Those churro pancakes? We’d absolutely order them again. 👏🏾

Have you been to Easy Like Sunday? If so, what’s your go-to order?
