Ramy Anka’s project DRAFT ranks 3rd internationally at the 10th edition of the Advanced Architecture Contest, challenging this year the theme of A.I. for the Built Environment.
Having graduated from ALBA-UOB in 2023 as Major de Promotion, he succeeded in ranking over 400 international registrations and 100 proposals. The thesis proposal, conceived in the Experimental studio of Samer Eid, was previously awarded the Excellence Prize by the ALBA-UOB jury deliberation and the 1st Prize of the 2023 Dédé Hourani Award.
DRAFT or the Digital Resurrection of Artificial Fictional Texts, is a tectonic that mobilizes Artificial Intelligence as a catalyst between architectural information and data collection. The architectural conception of the project speculates on a contextual Formal Vocabulary as it aims to draw a partnership between A.I. imaging procedures and analog human exchange/interventions.
