Hello everyone! The results for the #creamandspookywinterDTIYS are FINALLY in. First things first, MAJOR apologies for the delay. The results were expected to be out back in January but sometimes life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Hopefully things will be up and active soon as I get back into the swing of things. For now I hope the results have been worth the wait, as I'm excited to share them! Honourable mentions will be featured in a different post. Also, due to the fact that I received so many amazing entries, I decided to add a third place winner! The prize will be a headshot with a simple background. Third place goes to @choatickittenart! This artist's style is awesome and the shading and lighting are really nice--love the fur highlights! Spooky also looks especially adorable dressed as a little reindeer. Second place goes to @an_artist_01! The incorporation of realism into this piece was so cool and well-done. The characters were painted to look realistic, and yet they were able to remain super expressive and adorable. Not to mention all those details! Awesome work, truly unique! And finally... first place goes to @ryuumars! Where to even begin? This piece is truly wonderful--the colours, the details, the shading... you can tell so much time and effort went into every aspect of this piece. The artist really paid attention to every last detail, down to each strand of fur and the specks snow on the characters. The lighting also does so much to add contrast to the piece and really add to the overall atmosphere. Beautiful work! Winners, please DM to claim your prizes! Before I end off this post, I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to make an entry. You guys all did a fantastic job, and picking winners was honestly super difficult--more difficult than I'd imagined!! If I had the time, I would make you all a little something for your lovely work but unfortunately I just can't. I encourage everyone to check out the DTIYS highlight on this page to drop these artists a follow--you won't regret it! Thank you to everyone who has supported Cream and Spooky so far, I appreciate you all 💕 #DTIYS #creamandspooky #art
