We’re interrupting our Dirty20 promo to share a part of last night’s New Voices In Animation showcase Q&A featuring “The Fisherman’s Lullaby” filmmaker, Kaniz Fatema, moderated by Sam Goff, at Animation Is Film.

“The Fisherman’s Lullaby” is the Titmouse Foundation’s first funded short film and inspired in many ways the current “Short Animation Fellowship” program.

If you would like to support our foundation, we’d love to have you at Dirty20 on November 14th. If you’re unable to make it to Burbank and still want to contribute, we have a link in our bio to our Givebutter page where general donations are accepted.

Missed last night’s screening? If you’re at Lightbox in Pasadena on Saturday, we will be screening the short as part of our panel. Stay tuned for more festival appearances!

Someone said "Wheels & Roses" is like #hopecore and that literally set my spirit on fire (/positive) 🥹💗

So much of what I envision for WNR is that queer Black kids get to experience softness.
The softness of friendship.
The softness of community.
The softness of knowing you're wanted, loved, and have a future to look forward to.

If you haven seen our magical girl meets roller derby coming of age, pilot PLS go to YouTube to watch! It would mean a lot to me and the team 🥹💗 #indieanimation #magicalgirl
