The very first in-person Saucer Cleanup Party!
A wonderful way to tour a city while leaving it cleaner than we found it 🌎🫶🏼
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Vancouver and took on this long walk!

Pro tip: picking up litter is great EXERCISE. Stay hydrated, wear sunblock, bring good shoes, and plan rest stops in advance 💛

Big shoutout to Vancouver for lending us equipment and making the process so easy. We’ll do this again! 🇨🇦

Looking back at AnshinKai Vancouver 🌿

@elliefiermusic and @ashleylawlz joined us as a duo, playing originals and covers with acoustic guitar and voices that were perfectly matched to each other.

The stories they shared about what each song meant to them made the set especially sweet. Ash and Ellie are British Columbia locals, so we were honoured to have them play for us in their home province.

Looking back at AnshinKai Vancouver 🌿

@its_tanuki was the spark that brought about the first AnshinKai while she lived in Tokyo, so it felt full circle having her join us for the third time in her home city of Vancouver! The second time was in a beautiful home in Spain. (Stay tuned for photos from that event!)

Tanuki played a beautiful set of her original songs, including an emotional performance of Gravitate.

“When our paths cross again, it will be like we were never apart” ❤️
Thank you for gifting us the music to express the love for all our long distance friendships, Tanuki.

Looking back at AnshinKai Vancouver 🌿

@mirabelle.jien opened the afternoon for us, building her sound live with loops using acoustic guitar and flute. Watching her songs take shape layer by layer was a beautiful and masterful display of musicianship.

Her performance of Wildfire was a standout, especially upon learning the symbolism within the song that united so many of us in the audience.

Looking back at AnshinKai Vancouver 🌿

@itsmeemsea closed the day for us with a set of her original songs, raw and emotional, carried by a voice unlike any other.

She even shared her new song Feel Everything with us, which was a beautiful gift to end with. We’re so lucky to have had a chance to be present with her.

South-West rock duo @candarband opened up The View this afternoon at @boardmasters. A nice rock n roll explosion to get us and the crowd ready for the day 🤘

My first headline show in Vancouver 🌲🏔️and what a lovely evening it was. I’ve performed in Vancouver a good number of times now, so it has a special place in my heart ❤️

Thanks for coming out, flying out, even!! I probably referenced Twitch inside jokes wayyy too much, but guess you’ll just have to catch my streams if you wanna be in the know 🫢

Until next time, Vancouver 🫡

Huge shoutout to the amazing string players who were kind enough to join me and play my music!
