🎧This week, guest @nictovey speaks on how it feels to be a man in today’s world. He discusses how men can navigate the challenges that arise for them as we all work to break down the patriarchy, and how they can better express themselves, support themselves, and strengthen their inner worlds to ensure they can contribute to the dialogue and empowerment of women.

Could not be prouder of this woman, of all that she fights for and all that she has accomplished by way of changing inhuman and archaic Australian law that brings shame to our nation. Tomorrow is a big day, and I am cheering for you and your win against our government in its attempt to reimpose legals that have no place in our bright future. You’re a hero, you’re a ChangeMaker, you’re a QUEEN. And I’m in awe 🙌✨🤍 @humanrights4a @thelovingpodcast

We have much to do as a collective to help heal our humanity. And the more we work together in this endeavour, the faster the progress will be. One issue that is fast gaining momentum across our nation is refugee rights. And, one of the people driving this momentum is this lady, this hero, this ChangeMaker - Alison Battisson. As an immigration lawyer, Alison is literally forcing legal change within a stubborn, old and archaic immigration system to ensure the human rights of people seeking asylum are upheld.

She fights a government that has continuously refused to acknowledge the humanity of refugees and the stateless, locking them behind bars and tucking them away from sight for years and years.
What makes her even more special is that she does this work pro-bono, going into battle every day against our government, fearlessly speaking up and out against the warehousing of innocent humans by way of indefinite detention. She does this via her non-profit legal firm @humanrights4a
•
It is people like Alison that we celebrate, and that is why she is one of the STARS ⭐️ of The Loving Podcast and features in our ChangeMaker Exhibition travelling Australia this year to build support for our Voices Of Change.
•
This week is Refugee Week. And one way to contribute to building a better world is to help Alison continue her work by way of donation. You can do this by going to our website, thelovingpodcast.com, and clicking on Alison. Big love! ❤️
•
•

Alison has committed her life to freeing those caught up in Australia’s unlawful immigration system.
