“This work is part of my Exoskeleton series, a body of wall-mounted paint forms that exists between painting and sculpture. Through layered materials and accumulated surfaces, they explore protection as both a physical and psychological condition. Rather than functioning as armor, the works imagine protection as something porous, adaptive, and continually evolving.”

“Separation” and “If I Ran Away” are part of the Confessions series, which explores the body as a fragmented archive of memory, trauma, and survival. Cast from the body in white bronze and assembled with found industrial objects, these sculptures examine systems of control, confinement, and the psychological weight the body continues to carry despite fragmentation. These sculptures exist in a space of tension, where beauty collides with brutality and tenderness emerges through friction. In a world where violence is systemic, softness becomes an act of defiance—a way of witnessing, remembering, and reclaiming. These assemblages offer no easy answers. They stand as monuments to what we carry and cannot fully release, existing between rupture and repair. They ask how we might hold our histories without allowing them to consume us.
