Soft spongy lime cake and creamy lime ganache on top? My vote's for this one. --

The first time @bakerzoh called us in to taste this cake, we knew this was something so different from what @getfreshcakes had done before. Summery & light were the first few words that came to our vision. Heres to one of the best cakes I got to taste and shoot I got to work on. --

Walnut cake by @getfreshcakes🍰

Once the home-made aesthetic was set we upped the game with a glass of cutting chai.

Walnut Cake was the first of the series and we wanted to create a rustic, earthy setting which will justify the simple yet rich flavours of the cake.

What's a cake shoot without a thick fat slice shot 🍰 Lovely crumbly textures of the cake against all the crumbled pistachios, baby's breath etc. --

Rose cake by @bakerzoh
--
The flat lay shot of the rose cake had to be the shot that bought out the exotic ingredients of cake. Green Pistachios & Rose Petals plays nicely against the dark grey texture, adding drama to the cakes that's fresh out of oven and sliced, with a glass of nice old rose milk.

Rose cake by @getfreshcakes🍰

Rose Cake was an exotic cake in terms of flavours and in contrast to what was available on the menu. We arrived at this messy yet colourful, tropical yet organic aesthetic to bring out the cake that was both exotic and homemade.
