SamJ is an Italian DJ and producer; influenced by progressive rock and alternative indie since she was a child thanks to her father, with whom she listened to vinyl with a hi-fi system. Her physical approach to the console is influenced by her 17 years of experience in classical and contemporary dance at an international level.

After completing her studies in visual arts, she moved to Milan in 2021, where she studied as a fashion designer and art director, here she came into contact with the city's techno scene.

SamJ began her career as a DJ at the Tempio del Futuro Perduto, where she joined the "Culturave Collective" and became a resident artist of the "Culturave Soundsystem". Inside the Tempio she had the opportunity to play in different formats where she experimented with different subgenres linked to hard techno and industrial techno.

Furthermore, during her first year of career, in addition to having played in various prominent Milanese formats, she debuted internationally and played in Switzerland (Lugano) and Germany (Berlin).

After the experience with Tempio, she started in the 2024/2025 season her new project as resident dj, art director and booker for a Milanese format of hard techno called "Obsex".

Her dj sets are characterized by fast and pressing rhythms, full and reverberating speakers; her sound is hard and ranges from hard techno to hard industrial techno, sometimes mixing schranz and hard style.

What distinguishes SamJ is the never obvious selection, which brings sounds and combinations that are sometimes unusual; in her dj sets movement and performativity are the focal points alongside the music, thanks also to her experience as a dancer, thus communicating with the public and exchanging strong synergies.
