It’s not a holiday nor anyone’s birthday, I just feel grateful right now.

I feel grateful for love today——not just love for my partner/family or love for myself, but grateful for the love that I’ve been able to experience daily from whomever I open myself up to, and whoever opens themselves up to me. I feel grateful for the “how are you’s” from acquaintances that don’t feel like just a courtesy, grateful for the eye contact and nods that come along with holding open the door for someone I’ll likely never see again, grateful for the energy exchange that can come along with a handshake, or a hug, or a smile. I feel grateful for acceptance and trust and learning and growing and shifting and changing and accepting all over again.

I feel so grateful for each person who has shared themselves with me, and for everyone who has let me share myself with them. It’s a true honor, and I don’t take that for granted.

It would be impossible to post a photo of the multitudes of folks who’ve touched my life, but I have full faith you know who you are.

We all get stuck.

There are many reasons you may feel a creative block.

Most people will struggle with this at some point.

If you’re someone that writes a lot - whether with talks, articles, social media posts, or other content, then it will resurface from time to time.

Here are our tips to help you move through it. 👇

✨ Check in with yourself

✨ Take a walk

✨ Ask a friend

✨ Look for inspiration

✨ Set up a routine

✨ Remove distractions

✨ Just write something

✨ Don’t be your worst critic

✨ Do what works for you

These are our tips but everyone is different.

You may find that things that work for you might not work for most.

That’s totally okay!

Experiment and figure out what helps you create. That might even change day to day.

Give yourself grace and the flexibility to figure it out.
