One of the most fulfilling runs of my life….and it also happened to be one of the most logistically difficult.

The journey to Tash Rabat, Kyrgyzstan with a snowboard was anything but simple that time, patience was tested for sure. But after all that effort, we made it. Honestly, I didn’t care that there wasn’t much snow, there was enough to get the feeling! The feeling of sliding down hill while looking at this incredible structure from the distant past. The feeling of accomplishing a goal. The feeling of smooth buttery untouched snow. It was all there. And I got to do it with my friends 👌

To this day, some of the best few turns I’ve ever had.

Seeing @tracksmag Issue 606 on the shelves this week was a pretty cool moment. To think that @beyondborderspatagonia has now played to 15 sold-out screenings across Australia and Indo, and is about to head out on a new 20-stop film tour across Australia and New Zealand with @garagefilms and @madmanfilms ... it’s hard to put into words what that means.

A couple of years ago this was just an idea, a film about chasing waves, mountains and the unknown. Today it’s become something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

Making independent films is so hard. There are countless moments where I’ve question whether it’s all worth it. But every packed cinema, every message, every person who’s got around it, shared the film or told a friend has made this dream come true.

To everyone who has supported this journey from day one, thank you. We have more things loading…
