I’m pleased to learn that “Michael Solace” has been accepted into @rocktheshortsfilmfest in LA. Having previously attended, I can safely say this is one of my favorite festivals. So, it’s very exciting to be part of it again and in the heart of Hollywood. A big congratulations to everyone involved.

That's a wrap on THE LAST GOODNIGHT! Still getting caught up after the trek home but my heart is so full (albeit a little raw) after this shoot.

So grateful for Rob Levinson for gifting us this story and his beautiful words, as well as letting us breathe life into them. Thanks also to my long-time pal, Amy Wade for recommending me for this film! Special thanks to our producer, Mary Christo, who not only gave up her bedroom for the shoot but also gave us sanctuary and delicious victuals, all while juggling her own busy life!

Our crew was sublime, including our visionary cinematographer, Owen King, who stepped in at the last minute and lent us his extraordinary eye!

Lastly, and most importantly, I send big hugs and kisses to all those who donated to this little project. We literally couldn't have done it without you! I so look forward to showing you all the hard work we did over the weekend and raising money for an important cause.

See y'all at the premiere!

S/o to @theweedakergroup @newdiafenway for teaming up with me and getting this vision brought to life. I’m not really huge on politics and I genuinely find myself disagreeing with a lot but this is something I don’t think people should be quiet about. Thank yall for believing me and giving Hiphop a chance in one of the most iconic parts of the city🙏🏽🥹💚🤞🏽

This weekend was a whirlwind. I had the pleasure of attending the 5th annual #SpringLaneFilmFestival in Sanford, North Carolina where “Michael Solace” screened. The film not only got a solid reception but I was honored to have been awarded the Spring Lane Hall of Fame award which is given to a filmmaker who demonstrates a dedication, commitment, and continuously making new contributions to independent film. The icing on the cake was meeting new and incredible filmmakers from that area and around the world who are amazingly talented.

I must thank the entire cast and crew of the film who made it possible as without them there is no film. They make it possible. I must also thank Jared Campbell and the judges of the festival who recognized our film. It was a blast to attended and cannot recommend it enough.

More festival news to share for “Michael Solace.” I’m pleased to share that we’ve been accepted into the New Bedford Film Festival and the Jersey Shore Film Festival, where we’re being considered an Elite Selection. A huge congrats to everyone involved. This was a fun, but also challenging, film to make but the cast and crew made it possible, and I’m incredibly proud.

Just some of the behind the scenes photos from the making of “Michael Soalce.” This was easily one of my favorite films to make with the best cast and crew anyone could ask for. There were challenges that pushed me in the best way as a director cannot thank this talented team enough.

We’re screening next week as part of Winterdance 2025!

Here it is! I'm pleased to share the trailer for the latest short film I directed, "Michael Solace," a short thriller about a screenwriter who wrestles with selling his soul for money and notoriety.
