Wedza, Zimbabwe❤️

My heart is beyond full from this trip. Last week, I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Zimbabwe with my church alongside FEED. Experiencing such a pure type of love from this community has shown me a glimpse of heaven and filled me with gratitude for the cross as I continue to witness and experience a love that is only found in Jesus Christ. My heart is forever changed by the worship, conversations, and friendships I made here. Hakuna wakaita sa Jesu!

“that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭6‬

THANK YOU JESUS🙌🙌 All glory to Him.

This past week I had the amazing opportunity to serve in Wedza, Zimbabwe, with FEED, an organization my church, @thechapelfw, partners with. God has used them to do so much good, and everything they do is for His glory!

The community in Wedza had this unexplainable joy and reliance on the Lord that was truly incredible and so contagious to our whole team. They have given me a new perspective and opened my eyes to what true gratitude looks like.

I am eternally grateful for this experience, for the people on this team, and for Christ’s guidance every step of the way.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His faithful love endures forever.”-Psalm‬ ‭136‬:‭1‬

I’m so in awe of God, his love, his power, and the work that he does! I’ve been blessed to be able to serve in Wedza, Zimbabwe this past week partnered with an organization called FEED and my church. This community truly showed us real joy of the Lord and what it means to serve each other in love! I pray that we can follow their lead, and no matter where we are, demonstrate Gods love to those around us.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” - 1 Peter 4:10

I have been infinitely blessed to be able to serve the Lord in so many different locations throughout my life but I never thought I would get the opportunity to in Zimbabwe! A group of my best friends from church and I spent the past week serving the community of Wedza with the FEED organization my church partners with. We spent so much time in prayer, preparing our hearts for whatever the Lord had in store for us. While we were there to serve the community of Wedza, it ended up feeling like they were serving us through their hospitality and pure joy for the Lord, and their life. I will forever miss the community we were able to get to know. None of this would have been possible without God, and so many amazing supporters in my life!
