Another one for the books! I composed this piece for the 103 singers of La Scala Children’s Choir, which then blends into my arrangement of I Feel Love by @officialdonnasummer & @giorgiomoroder, performed by Alicia Keys.

More from this show to be shared in the upcoming days, but this one is probably one of my favorite moments.

Another huge Monday night at @allsoulsnewyork !For the second week in a row, our volunteers distributed over 18,000 pounds of rescued food from @amazon and @traderjoes to New Yorkers in need.

Last night we had the rare sighting of our full junior board in the same place! It takes a hardworking and dedicated team to get this work done, and that’s exactly what we have.

Thank you to another team of amazing volunteers from @voguemagazine who have been enormously helpful and committed across these two crazy weeks.

I had the absolute time of my life losing a Tony last weekend, still coming back to earth✨

Getting to be a tiny part of the historic magic that is @catsjellicleball — and the legends and legendary work behind it — has been a joy beyond words.

@qween_jean — your heart and intentionality shines through in all 500 looks you created, and I can’t wait to see all the history you continue to make

@omari_wiles and @arturo_thaengineer — the electricity of your ballroom moves on that Broadway stage is euphoric medicine for the soul

Bill Rauch and @zhailon — your tag-team vision and brilliance in bringing this radical reinvention to life is a gift to us all, making impacts wider than you could imagine

Massive shout out to the incredible cast, crew, and pioneering black and brown, queer and trans ballroom elders whose magic is so much bigger than any award. To @adamjkantor for being the coproducing ride or die of my dreams and @mikebosner and @mirandousha for bringing us along on this wild ride🙏

Witnessing my middle school theatre bestie @realmicahf win the biggest award of the night (and jumping out of a cab at 3am to recreate our prom picture) had me absolutely kvelling — but that deserves its own post.

This is a long-winded way of saying, I love you Broadway — and come one, come all, to the Jellicle Ball😻🪩✨
