We’re Sammy and Ben — the husband-and-wife duo behind The Little C Cafe. For nearly six years, we’ve been building a family-run space on the south coast that feels creative, welcoming, and a little bit different.
Sammy comes from a background in marketing, music, and events, and she’s been DJing for years — curating the soundtrack you hear in the café each day. Music is a huge part of who we are, and it shapes the vibe of our space.
Ben’s background is in advertising, TV, and film, bringing a creative edge to the look, feel, and storytelling behind The Little C.
Together, we’re working to make The Little C one of the south coast’s favourite coffee spots. Alongside quality coffee and food, we also stock a curated collection of pre-loved clothing, Akubras, and thoughtfully selected Australian pieces and products. We’ve recently welcomed Sonoma into the mix too — an exciting new addition.
With great coffee, good food, curated finds, and good tunes always playing, The Little C is more than just a coffee stop.

With over 20 years in the Sydney music scene as a DJ, a dj & band booker, event coordinator, and Head Entertainment Booker for the Merivale Group, Sammy has worked with some of the most talented artists in Sydney and across Australia. Her career has also included curating music for Vivid Festival and collaborating with leading brands and fashion shows, creating soundtracks that elevate both live events and cultural .
This will be a regular party where Sammy brings together some of her favourite DJs, artists, and music selectors to share the music they love most 🤍

**Kiosk Announcement**

It is with a heavy heart that we announce this coming week will be our final week of trading at The Kiosk.

Kiama council have informed the Surf Club that we can not enter into any subleasing arrangements due to the classification of the land.
Our journey at The Kiosk has been filled with cherished memories. Our children have grown up here, and our staff have become like family. We’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless new mothers with their babies and toddlers, who have now blossomed into school-aged children. There have been countless sunrises, post-surf and swim coffees, early morning walks, and heartwarming chats with friends over coffee after Pilates or lifeguard patrols. The grassy area fostered many friendships and good times making it a true hub for the Gerringong community and all the tourists and visitors who come to this beautiful place. Our goal was to create a space where life’s simple pleasures could be savored, allowing everyone to pause and enjoy the moment.

The kiosk began with virtually no real consistent trade and we have built it up and seen it grow through winter to summer and for over six years, we have been here seven days a week from 6.30am weathering droughts, bushfires, COVID lockdowns, torrential rains, and the current cost of living crisis. Throughout it all, our community and loyal customers have stood by us, and for that, we are eternally grateful. While we will deeply miss seeing all of you daily, we will continue to serve you at The Little C, offering much of the same and even more.

Thank you for being a part of our journey! We haved loved it all. Love Ben, Sammy, Clancy, Jack and all the team at The Kiosk
