Happy thanksgiving!!! feeling extra thankful this year because... we moved into our new home this weekend!!

Right after the wedding we found out we had to leave our rental and honestly it was such a stressful scramble. but @kelowna_kevin_snaychuk found us the most perfect house SO fast. We literally only looked at one and just knew the second we walked in. If you are looking for a realtor in the Okanagan, highly highly recommend Kevin! & if you’re looking for an amazing mortgage broker who will literally jump hoops for you, call @mortgagesbyallison !!

Huge thank you to everyone who made this possible for us and helped us move this weekend, you guys are the best. and the best part is we are now neighbours with my cousins and sister 🎉

If I had to describe my perfect Saturday outing, this would pretty much be it 🍂

Give me a coffee, a date with my sister and a girlfriend, a trip to HomeSense, Home Depot and Canadian Tire to look at all the fall and Halloween and fall decor and I’m happy.

One thing about me… I’m ALWAYS going to notice the little details.

Obviously you need the wide shots when you’re photographing an Airbnb, but I swear sometimes it’s the smaller shots that make the space feel so much more inviting.

The cute lamp, the bedding, the little coffee setup, a styled corner, the way the light comes through the window… all the things that make you actually picture yourself staying there.

I love photographing spaces this way because every Airbnb has its own little details that give it personality and make it different from the next.

I don’t share my personal life on here too often. Not a fan. BUT I feel like this summer was one of the best summers I have had yet.

So many amazing things happened, we planned a wedding in a very short amount of time… Which was quite stressful. I don’t recommend trying to plan a wedding on your own without a planner.🤣 but we had so much help from so many amazing family and friends!

We got to spend the summer with so many different family members from Alberta and all the way from New Zealand! And I miss them all so much !!!!

We spent lots of days down at Jills farm, swimming and fishing and going on adventures with the kids!

I photographed so many amazing families and had the privilege of shooting some really cool campaigns and photo shoots for some pretty big names. Still feeling like I am on cloud nine from those ones!

And we bought a house!!!!!!!! Thanks kevy for all your help with making the process so quick and seamless!! @kelowna_kevin_snaychuk

Cannot wait to share more about this fun and exciting new adventure! Be prepared my Instagram is going to turn into a DIY page here pretty quickly🤣

Golden oak to something a whole lot softer. Sammy went with Shaker Bevel in Mist across the kitchen and the nook, and it completely changed the temperature of the room.

Mist is one of those colours that reads warm greige in daylight and almost creamy at night, so it plays nicely with brass hardware and a veiny marble backsplash without competing with either. The bevel detail on the shaker frame is subtle, but it’s what keeps a flat-front kitchen from looking flat.

The nook is the part we love most. That empty wall beside the range was doing nothing before... now it’s a full-height run of cabinetry, with a few custom pieces made to her exact sizing so everything lines up flush from the kitchen through to the nook.

They say it’s good look to have a storm on your wedding so I’ll take it!!! The sun did come over right after this and it turned into the most magical evening we could of ever asked for ☀️🤍

Steph and Jesse are two of my favourite humans on this earth. Salt of the earth people. Back in July, we hosted their wedding at our farm, and made memories that will last a lifetime. 🤍🥹

We spent the days leading up to the wedding all together as a family. Steph, her girlfriends, my cousins, my aunties, Justin, everybody... setting it all up, decorating, laughing, pitching in wherever we could. Two of the most gorgeous days. The weather was perfect. My heart was so full.

And getting to be reunited with family I hadn’t seen in years, in the middle of all of it, I had actual tears of happiness rolling down my cheeks. Steph was the most stunning bride.
