Day 3 of camp and into the K4s for some valuable team boat work.

Athletes had the chance to paddle alongside Olympians and World Champions of our sport, learning about timing, teamwork and race strategy. We wrapped up with a race to crown the fastest crew — a great way to finish the camp with plenty of fun and important takeaways and even a sneaky swim 🫣

Let’s set the scene.

Last day of our junior camp… Bombing 8-10ft G-Land going into speed reef!

Paddling back out and seeing the top of one of the biggest sets of the day come rolling down the reef the anticipation went next level as I floated over the wave in front wondering who was the lucky surfer to jag this beast!! I kid you not this was the image I saw as I finally got to set my eyes on the wave! One of my groms from the camp @billyporterr on his backside, no hands and standing bolt up right on the wave of the day!!
