FIREBRINGER THE MUSICAL🔥🦆🪾
So we started a theater company… @snowdayshows

Join us as we turn our goofy theater-kid fantasies into real, full-fledged passion projects! Through our “all hands on deck” approach, emphasis on equity-based teamwork, and the fact that a bunch of fantastically multi-talented people jumped right in with an enthusiastic YES… we are able to happily present our unique creative work-in-progress endeavor to you: our inaugural production of FIREBRINGER🔥 (@therealteamstarkid ) Follow along with us as we make something out of nothing, turn straw into gold, and see how much is possible with cardboard, scissors, and glue.

We cannot wait to see how this company snowballs (get it?) - and we are thrilled to share the early stages of our development with the NYU theater community and beyond!❄️🙃

Firebringer🔥🦆

We did a thing!!! @snowdayshows is co-founded by @alexahartman_11 and myself and we had a blast putting up our premiere production of Starkid’s Firebringer!!! This went from a silly intrusive thought (on a snow day), where the original idea was more akin to a staged reading, but then once we had a room of talented creative people, it turned into buying rights and renting a space and making a set and staging a full production. Every cast member doubled as a creative team role and we got the chance to see how multi-hyphenated our friends are. As silly as we and the show are, it was incredible to put together a team of artists and friends and take our work into our own hands. I’m excited to watch this grow and we “work it out”!!
