Sam and I met the first week of October in 2019. On Halloween, we hiked to the top of Enchanted Rock. He handed me a note and a backpack full of candy and asked me to be his girlfriend. We’ve been inseparable ever since. On October 9th of 2021, he met me under an arch by one of the big oak trees at Ambleside. We both said “I do” under the golden light of the fall sunset surrounded by our friends and family. That “I do” has already carried us into so many beautiful adventures. There have been hard moments, but there is always light in the darkness. Thank you for being my light on the toughest days and for always keeping us running towards our next goals! I love you @samrunstx 💕

Ultramarathoner, member of the U.S. Army, and co-host of the @runnerslikeuspodcast, @goforyour30 has found that lifting up others in the running community is where he gets the most joy from this sport.

Sure, tough training blocks, intense races and hard workouts are where he learns most about himself, but nothing satisfies his soul more than giving a “don’t give up” to the runner on the trail next to him. @multisportmama missed sub-3 by just 10 seconds at the 2023 @indymonumental, running 3:00:10.

Instead of moving on, she chased it aggressively — racing five marathons in 12 months before finally breaking three hours one year later at the @chimarathon. She’s now a two-time sub-three-hour marathoner.

We talk about that journey, balancing training with coaching, motherhood, and a full-time job, plus rebuilding her relationship with running after collegiate burnout.

When @niko.ontherun decided to start his weight loss journey, running marathons weren't much of a thought. Today, he's a 3:28 marathoner, a 1:28 half-marathoner, and a sub-19 5K runner.

But more importantly, his passion has also rubbed off on his family, as his wife now chases her own PRs and her oldest son is trying triathlons.
