WHAT A NIGHT! It has been 1 week and I’m still processing. Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for everyone who came out to our premiere. We were blown away!! You filled the room with so much energy and love for this project.
Thank you Gladys and Andres for throwing an incredible fashion show. Thank you to my whole REVO TEAM for support this project from the start and pushing me to go through with it. Thank you @alexisbornphoto @samsonlusamba and @annlusamba for coming to NY to create and promote this film. Thank you producers @hjgregg and @rickrottschafer for taking a chance on me as the director of this film.
And thank you to our Gatekeeper of Dreams, @cgmodelsbybarbara for not only being an inspiring/ dynamic hero in this film but for YOUR commitment to this project and for putting together the world’s best film premiere. I’m still speechless.
Thank you @coretalent.agency and CG models who took time away from other big NYFW shows to not only attend this event but to participate in it.
I’m astonished. I’m humbled. I am so grateful.

🎥 🎞️ ‼️ I can’t believe it’s been a year already.
One year ago, Samson, Ann and I pulled up to New York Fashion Week to follow a woman we had never met. Under-equipped. Understaffed. Underfunded.
We figured it out fast — mic Barbra, point a camera at her, and stay out of the way. Seven days. That was the whole plan.
What we walked into was RUNWAY7, the #1 production platform at NYFW, and every bit of the energy, excitement and chaos that comes with it. The rejections in castings. The frustration of designers in fittings. The mistakes and the accidents on the SONY HALL runway.
We filmed all of it.
And at the center of all of it: Barbra Aixa Garcia. The Gatekeeper of Dreams. @cgmodelsbybarbara @gatekeeperofdreams

She will inspire you. She will motivate you. She will entertain you. We were granted unprecedented access.
