We are incredibly delighted to announce our production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” taking place in the Everyman Theatre from Thursday 20 - Saturday 22 of August.

Set in the French Quarter of 1940s New Orleans, a troubled Southern belle named Blanche DuBois desperately attempts to reconnect with her younger sister Stella. Unfortunately, Stella’s new husband, Stanley Kowalski, does his very best to intervene, leading to one of the great conflicts of American literature.

Tennessee Williams’ haunting proto-feminist tale makes its Everyman debut this summer, presented by local production company Lee Promotions.

Playwright Tennessee Williams
Director Aaron O’Keeffe
Set Designer Hannah B. Lane

Full cast and creative team announcements coming soon.

Tickets can be found in bio. Thank you so much for your support thus far and we for one can’t wait to bring this extraordinary play to life for what seems to be its very first time in Cork!
