What a few days! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand over the weekend. It was great showing off the range, talking fishing and meeting so many of you in person. ⚡️WORLD RECORD⚡️ - - A slow GT day turn into unforgettable catch of e lifetime... - - After trying a few spots that give us just some timid blows up... I drove the boat to a famous big reef whit some bomys and some really nice drop of in to a deep where pelagic monsters are use to hunt their snaks in the corrent... And here on the big blue is where i decide to start... I start the drift and after few cast @samuel.colvin had a big explosion on his @angrypandalures and he set the hook in to this world record long tail tuna of 45 kg...!!! 🤩🏆 Really thanks to @ktownpanda and @ryanturnerproteam that help me to put on board this beast for a really quick photo session and release it safe on a best way...!!! • Season 16 is ON • Super tough year navigating NBs through Trumps War, The Caroline Benzengi Oil spill on Al Qibliyah Island and various new Operating rules. Excitement is building however as we prepare for our 16th season running the NBs lodges & mechanical workshop, Mothership Notus Temptress and our Fleet of custom built centre consoles. Thankfully travel routes are fully open and Oman’s legendary hospitality is as welcoming as ever. The oil spill is now well contained and the steady Indian Monsoon winds have thankfully pushed the spill away from our beloved Hallaniyat Islands. We have further added to the NBs experience by building a new fly lodge and expanding our Fleet with another custom build 32’ with both Bow & Stern casting platforms, I look forward to sharing more on that soon. Head guide @d__a__z__z returns for his 3rd season and our guide team will be made up of New Zealanders and an Argentinian. The crew across the operation bring a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, certification and professionalism as we strive to continue leading the Sports Fishing Industry in the region. We have honored all bookings effected by travel disruptions earlier in the year by rescheduling them with no admin fees & full value over the start of the season, effectively absorbing the full financial impact of the war ourselves. 2026 Dampier Classic, the 50th Anniversary! What a weekend! The fishing all round was amazing and the results across the sections show it and congratulations to all the winners! A different classic for us this year after only ever fishing Capture and RT fishing with Bridie, we made the call to fish the Billfish section! The crew, Beau, Dean and Sam were on fire and made the weekend very enjoyable and fun. From the prep, rigging, rerigging each night after late runs home in the dark it all paid off. We finished with 66 Sailfish for the 4 days and new boat record of 29 fish in a day on the Saturday. A day and a comp i’ll never forget! First comp win as a skipper!! Thanks boys and only one spray from me 😂 Massive thanks to all our families, these weekends take alot of work and we all dissappear fishing for alot more than just the 4 days of the comp while you all hold down the fort at home! We appeciate and love you all!! Oh and cant forget the carrot cake mum!!!! Time to fix all the broken shit, and get back into em!
