SCOUTED EVENT | HARVESTING HOPE

Five acclaimed chefs. Dinner beneath the open sky. A shared purpose: helping end childhood hunger in America.

On Saturday, November 14, Keswick Hall’s annual Harvesting Hope returns to Oakdale Farm for an intimate evening benefiting No Kid Hungry—and this is one to reserve now.

Just 100 guests will gather at five tables set amid the Virginia countryside for Dinner in the Field, a five-course experience prepared entirely over open fire. Each chef will create a course celebrating peak-season produce from Oakdale Farm and ingredients from local purveyors.

Leading the evening is Keswick Hall’s Food & Beverage Director and Executive Chef Preston Paine, joined by an extraordinary lineup:

🔥 Jeremiah Langhorne of Michelin-starred The Dabney
🔥 Tuscan-born chef and Food Network personality Gabriele Bertaccini
🔥 Sam Jett, Executive Chef of Audrey
🔥 Chef and Food Network personality Aaron May

Begin with cocktails, wines, and passed canapés before taking your seat for dinner at 5:30 PM. Then follow the celebration into The Barn at Oakdale for desserts, local wines, and live music.

It’s an evening that brings together so much of what we love about this community: the harvest, the hospitality, and the generosity of gathering around a table for a meaningful cause.

Harvest, a gathering of what has been sewn.
Jubilee, a joyful celebration.
Our annual fundraiser event was just that.
A Harvest Jubilee!
“100% indeed!” -Farmer Doc

Thanks to the diligent work of our mission farmers and the dedication of our staff, what had been planted and tended to all year translated into more than just bountiful crops!

The community that gathered around Old School Farm for the Harvest Jubilee was a glimpse of what it looks like when we come together all inclusively, for a greater good!

Every element that made this night special was donated or volunteered and we are filled with gratitude for the support we’ve received from all of our friends.

All funds raised contribute to the mission of Old School Farm and thank you all for your part in that; guests, chefs, musicians, volunteers, sponsors & donors! See comments for some direct quotes of our attendees.
