Wow, what a journey this tour has been! 🚐🎸

I started on September 15, and I finally have a moment to breathe. 😮‍💨

The cap of the tour was @camp.django . It's the most intense and time-consuming work I do all year, but it's also one of my favorite times of year, and this was our biggest Camp Django yet, and in my opinion the best one! 🔥

Unfortunately, Paulus Schafer had to leave the US for a family emergency. 🙏 After a few phone calls 📞 I managed to persuade @giangiacrosso_guitar to come.

Thanks to all the staff Tim Kliphuis, Eva Slongo, Sam Farthing, Giangiacomo Rosso, and Simon Planting for putting their hearts into it ❤️, and thanks to the students for having faith in coming to this camp, not knowing what they were about to get into. 😅

Some other thanks- Nelsen Hutchinson and Tyson Bittrich for being solid and helping me with all the things that came up during the camp.

And finally big thanks to Jay at the Columbia Hotel for making it possible! 🏨

Stay tuned for next year!!! 👀

Nuits de Saint-Germain-des-Prés by Django Reinhardt.

I don't know the tune very well, so I was a bit lost, in survival mode... But my friend and student Tyson @lonefirhotclub sent it to me saying he was going to transcribe my solo! Finally, listening back to it, I think it's not too bad. What do you think? Have you ever had this feeling while playing?
