A Midsummer Night’s Dream!! Truly such a magical experience playing Helena with such a talented cast and crew. I will never forget this experience and I hope now that I’m out in the real world I’ll be able to work with them again. 💕

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the connections I’ve made during college but I will try to express it in this post.

To my parents, thank you for supporting my dreams of perusing the arts despite having no prior knowledge of the field. Despite everything you stood by my side and cheered me on as I walked down a path never traveled before

To my sister Kandee, from our late night face time calls to the few times I would see you when I’d be back home. I cannot express how much I’ve missed you and having you just randomly burst into my room because you were lonely. We helped support one another as we tried to face college together (though we are in completely different fields)

To my friends, thank you for accepting my weirdness. Standing by me through my highs and lows. Listening to all my random tangents, being creative muses, late night dnd games, fun costume parties, and being a found family I knew I could always turn to. (Yes, surprisingly even you Fabian)

To my professors. Thank you for your help as you guided me through the world that is theatre. I have learned SO MUCH over my four years at Wesleyan that I wouldn’t trade for anything else. Everything I have learned I will carry with me for the rest of my life. (And thank you for allowing me to turn some assignments in late)

And to anyone else I may have crossed paths with, I wish you all the best as you continue on with whatever journey you may be on. Even if we may have not known each other for long know that you’ve made an impact on my life.

Just like that my time at NWU has come to a close🎓

I’m eternally thankful for my wonderful professors for believing in me, especially @utepsong and Talea Bloch.

Looking back on all of the friendships I have made in my 4 years here remind how loving and supportive everyone has been. @holdenschroeder1404, @samevenson13 and I walked through the arch together on our first day and walked back out 4 years later with our small straggler @elly.gaskell.

i never would’ve expected nebraska of all places to become one of the best homes i’ve had throughout all my years of travel. there may have been nothing to do out here, but so many memories were made.

thank you to my family for supporting me from across the world and making this possible!

a huge thank you to @utepsong for helping me get my life together even if it’s just by witnessing me cry and for believing in me.

thank you to @lenzak317 who, although i only worked with you closely second semester, has made me so excited to learn. i adore you so much and have had so much fun getting to know you!

thank you to @samevenson13 @reganqwiseman and @holdenschroeder1404 for giving me hope for future nyc living. you guys are so awesome and i love you all dearly. i’m literally living with you guys soon so i won’t get too mushy.

@isaac_michael_smith thank you for being my best friend. i would not be as fun and cool as i am without you getting me to chill out, so thank you for making me a better person and for always supporting me. it has been such a joy to learn and grow beside you and i will miss you so much.

@kianabsorenson thank you for always being there to talk about literally anything under the sun. i treasure every moment with you and will miss you dearly.

@ft_kena @lucymhayes i just adore you two so shoutout you guys. you have my heart.

I’m very bad at taking photos, buuuuttt this is what I could find of my 2nd semester of college. Overall, I’m very happy for my 2nd semester and of everything I’ve gotten to do in my first year of college. I love all the new people and friends I have met/made and I’m seriously going to be thinking about and missing NWU the entire summer, it truly is my new home. Thank you all for an amazing first year! (Also sorry for the photo quality again I’m very bad at these kinds of things, and I could not tag everyone😭)
