I love you undergrad. From the highs, lows, and in betweens, I could not be more grateful for it all. My family, friends, and professors, all showed me so much love, care, support, and pushed me to keep going. The friends I grew up with, to the friends I made here, thank you for all you have done for me and for always being there. I could not be more grateful for each one of you, including those not in these pictures.🤍 Now, you know I have to do it. I love my professors, but that I got a picture with Dr. Culley I’m pretty set for life. What I learned in his classes, I will take with me forever (and almost all of my sociology minor were his classes). There are many more professors who made such a difference in who I am today and believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. From English to Exercise Science, the jump was pretty hard, but y’all made it so worth it. Thank you for everything, I’ll still come bug y’all when I can. I’ve officially graduated with my Bachelor’s of Exercise Science and minors in both Sociology+English. Now on to occupational therapy!

When I was 8, I had a conversation with my parents about heaven and how I could receive salvation. After accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior and believed in my heart that he died on the cross for my sins, I decided to get baptized.

That was almost 11 years ago. Throughout that time, I lived a life full of lukewarmness and disobedience to the Lord. I didn’t really pay attention in church growing up and I only sought the Lord when I was struggling. I always found myself doing things I didn’t want to do and I always left my Bible sitting in my room collecting dust. Reading it would often feel like a chore. I was rude to others and I often said things that I shouldn’t have. To be honest, I got baptized at a time in my life where I didn’t fully understand the severity of everything. I didn’t realize how much God loved me and the things that he did for me. I didn’t know that it was by his love and grace that he sent his one and only son to pay the penalty that I should have paid. It was almost as if I did it only to reaffirm my salvation into heaven.

Last summer I had an encounter with God that I will never forget. I was at camp and was praying after worship when I was suddenly hit with a giant wave of guilt and sadness. I finally saw how ignorant and selfish I was being. I wasn’t living a righteous life—I was living a selfish one. I only thought about myself and put God second. I breezed past Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross my whole life and I neglected my relationship with him.

Ever since that night, I decided to live for God and put him first in everything that I do. My relationship with the Lord has never been stronger, and I am so incredibly blessed to have a deep and close relationship with him. I’ve started studying my Bible, grew closer with community, and evangelized to people in my community. I thank God for the amazing people that he has brought into my life, because without them, I wouldn’t be where I am now.

I am a servant of Yahweh, the King of Kings. I thank him for his sacrifice that he made for me.

Today, I publicly rededicated my life to Christ. I’m so excited to continue on this path with him and the family that he has brought before me.

This year has truly been a rollercoaster, from all the people I met, to the people I departed from. I’m thankful for every challenge God put in my path and every blessing he sent my way. This year taught me so much about myself and how important community is. With that, I built several! I’m grateful for each and every person I met this year, whether at Liberty or at home. It’s gonna be REALLY hard to leave college for good after next semester, but I’m still so happy with the time I got to spend with my new friends :) AND SORRY I COULDNT TAG EVERYONE THEY ONLY LET YOU TAG 20 PEOPLE 😭😭😭 luv yall 🫶

normally i don’t make a post about how my year went— this year was different

this year i found myself feeling lost and abandoned, like i wasn’t doing things right. like i was only living for myself and not others. not even for God. i went to camp in the summer and woke up. i realized the selfishness of my ways and tried to fix it and realized i couldn’t do it alone. i needed to put my full trust in God, and he provided more than i ever thought he would.

what started as a little Bible study i would go to on Tuesday nights in the summer sprang into a wonderful family that i am so unbelievably grateful for. thank you for all the laughs, meals, vulnerable moments, and deep, fruitful conversations.

to my family: i love you guys, more than you could ever know. you guys have kept me going and helped me rekindle my life for the Lord and have changed my life for good. i no longer feel alone on this walk we call life. i’m stoked have you guys with me, and i can’t wait to share 2026 with you all.
