Okay, so maybe Pride was in JULY and we’re only posting this now... but in our defence, we threw a BIG GAY BEACH PARTY on a truck and apparently needed some recovery time. 🏖️🌈🦩

This year, Salty Broad Productions had the absolute honour of being given creative direction of the Victoria Pride Society Legacy Float for the 2026 Victoria Pride Parade!

Our theme:

🏖️ BEACH PLEASE! FLOAT INTO PRIDE 🛟
aka
✨ BIG GAY BEACH PARTY ✨

We brought together an incredible crew of singers, dancers, performers, decorators, GAYWATCH lifeguards, floatie wranglers, friends and community members to close out the parade in true Salty Broad fashion.

And, as if the day wasn’t magical enough already, the one and only @jimbothedragclown joined our Gaywatch Crew™️ as a last minute surprise! 🤡💖

A huge thank you to @victoriapridesociety for trusting us to steward the Legacy Float, @castlevictoriabc for sponsoring our ride, and @the.puzzlelab for helping us bring our signage dreams to life! And let’s not forget the incredible @kingrobinwood for running our tech and making us sound great!

And to every single person who helped us decorate, sing, dance, march, haul, tech, source, lend, inflate, de-inflate and generally make this ridiculous thing happen: THANK YOU. ❤️

What a joy getting to party our way through downtown Victoria with thousands of you.

BEACH PLEASE! 🏖️💦

Behind the scenes in Waco — Tyler reconnects with Roy Tuscany and meets athletes pushing what’s possible in the water, including Paralympian Alana Nichols.

This time, he’s stepping into something new with waveski.

Between sets, the conversations run deep — about injury, identity, and finding your way back.

From first paddle to a public surf session, it’s all part of the journey.

ALL IN — May 14 on AMI + AMI+

#AllInSeries #AdaptiveSurfing #WaveSki #BehindTheScenes #NewLimits Three people sitting and chatting in wooden lounge chairs under a shaded structure. One person in the foreground has double prosthetic legs and is relaxed with legs extended. A surfboard leans against the wall behind them, and greenery surrounds the area, creating a casual outdoor hangout vibe.

Hi 👋 bye 2025
Hard to put many pins in this year, especially the first half. But did more travelling, saw lots of friends, worked on some very cool things, and met someone real special.

A lot of folks right now are burning out and tired - give some kindness to yourself and folks around you, rest, and continue fighting the good fight.

Thanks for the good work, thanks to folks who came on board for me, thanks for the on-set giggles

Let’s have a hell of a 2026, y’all 🫡
