Now that the dust has settled and I’ve had a moment to soak it all in… my heart is SO full. 🥹❤️

I’ve never been the best at capturing every little moment on my phone, but I promise you, the memories are forever captured in my heart.

There’s something so beautifully bittersweet about what we do. You spend three months side by side with the same group of people, sharing stages, long travel days, endless laughs, little moments of chaos, and everything in between. These people become your everyday life, your little family on the road. And then, just like that, you pack your bags, say your goodbyes, and return to normal life, not knowing when your paths will cross again.

I think that’s one of the hardest parts of this crazy, beautiful life we’ve chosen. But it’s also what makes the time we share so incredibly special.

To every single person who poured their heart into making this Empire of the Sun tour what it was, THANK YOU. For the love, the laughter, the hard work, the kindness, and the countless moments that made this experience so much more than just a job. You have all inspired me beyond belief, and I feel so lucky to have shared this chapter with you.

We did it, team!!! 🥹✨ You are all absolute CHAMPIONS, and I’ll be carrying a little piece of each of you with me wherever I go.

Until our paths cross again. 👑🌞

Wandering around Planet Hollywood trying to find the elevator and we ran into Midnight Generation. The best funk band from Mexico. They just wrapped up touring with Empire of the Sun. They were gracious to spend time talking with us. Fantastic musicians and the sky is the limit for their success. Do yourself a favor and listen to them and definitely see them live.

Got lost trying to find the way out of the casino and ended up running into @midnightgeneration
We have loved seeing them open for Empire on the Afterlife tour, and they are the nicest guys! What a wonderful, unexpected birthday gift to chat with them for like an hour. Can’t wait for what’s next!!!

A year ago, a friend sent me a video of @midnightgeneration performing this song and said, “I feel like you’d like their vibe.”

Fast forward to July this year in Ibiza, Fernando from the band was DJing after Purple Disco Machine when this song came on. I was mid conversation in another room, heard the music and ran to the stage for an impromptu freestyle moment.

Afterward, I connected with Fernando and told him if they were ever in New York to hit me up.

A month later, here we are on stage at Forest Hills with the full band, opening up the show for Empire of the Sun!

I love these guys, their music, their ethos and the vibe they bring to the crowd. Music always help you find your kind of people. 💫
