Ever wonder where your support of Friends of San Clemente goes?

Funds raised through Friends of San Clemente support projects, spaces, and improvements our community can enjoy long after the event is over.

🏰 Courtney’s Sand Castle — an accessible playground where children of all abilities can play together

🚲 San Clemente Pump Track — giving local kids and riders another place to get outside and move

🛝 San Gorgonio Playground — helping keep a beloved neighborhood play space safe for local families

🌊 The Rescue Monument — honoring San Clemente lifeguards and our town’s ocean-safety legacy

So when you ride the rides, attend the events, donate, or support Friends of San Clemente, you’re helping invest right back into the community we all love.

Have fun locally. Give locally. See the impact locally. 🌴💛

soooo dang proud of this girlie!! penny took home a 1st place win in her division for the town pump track race today!! she didn't wanna compete in the skate contest bc it was a bit too intense for her last year. she did enjoy the pump track contest though and got second place last year. this year she raced her little heart out and got her fastest personal record ever! so that alone was a win. and then to be called up for 1st at the awards ceremony was so cute and special! we aren't a big comp fam so this was super fun. penny was so excited! you're such a freaking brave kid!!! love you pen pen! congrats to our buddy @mauiremy for also taking a 1st place win in her division. penny had a blast skating with all the girlies!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 thank you @friendsofsanclemente for such a fun time! @sanclementepumptrack

What does Friends of San Clemente actually do for our community? 💛🌴

Michael puts it simply: when funding is needed for local parks, recreation, beaches, and community projects, Friends steps in to help.

Our support has helped bring projects like the San Clemente Pump Track across the finish line.

And that is only one example.

Over the years, Friends of San Clemente has donated more than $1 million back to the city, helping support the places, programs, and recreational spaces that make San Clemente an even better place to live, gather, and play.

None of it happens alone. It is made possible by the board members, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and neighbors who believe in investing back into the community we all love.

Watch to hear more about the impact Friends is making throughout San Clemente. ❤️

Which local park, beach, program, or community space means the most to you? Tell us below! 👇

🕷️ SPIDEY + SMA + MADRID = SOMETHING SPECIAL! 🛹🔥

My good friend Spidey @spidey75 stopped by the shop to drop off one of his newest skate deck creations from Santa Monica Airlines x Madrid Skateboards—and this one is a serious piece of SoCal Surf Shop history!

Spidey got the opportunity to create a guest model for Santa Monica Airlines, and this deck is an EXTREMELY LIMITED EDITION—only 100 boards are being made! 🤯

So naturally… we had to take it one step further and turn this into a full-on SoCal collaboration with:

🛹 Santa Monica Airlines
@santamonicaairlines
🛹 Madrid Skateboards
@Madridskateboards
🛹 YOW Skateboards
@yowsurf
🛞 Powell Peralta Wheels
@PowellPeralta

This one is headed to the San Clemente Pump Track @sanclementepumptrack for some proper testing. But with the heat we’ve been having lately… we’re gonna let it cool down a little first. 😂☀️🥵

From Santa Monica to San Clemente, this board is bringing a whole lot of Southern California skate history together.

Thanks for dropping this beauty off, Spidey! Can’t wait to put some miles on it! 🤙🏽

Did you know Friends of San Clemente helped bring this community favorite to life? 🚲🌴

Tucked away on Avenida La Pata, the San Clemente Pump Track gives riders of different ages and experience levels a place to move, build confidence, and most importantly, have some fun!

With rollers, turns, a main track, and a smaller beginner-friendly course, it’s the perfect spot to practice your skills or try something new. Just remember your helmet! ⛑️

The pump track was created through a partnership between Friends of San Clemente, the City of San Clemente, Shimano, the Orange County Mountain Bike Association, American Ramp Company & Velosolution, and individual and community supporters.

Projects like this are a great example of what can happen when our community comes together to invest in public spaces where people can play, connect, and feel at home. 💛

Have you taken a lap yet? Tell us about it below or tag the person you want to bring with you!

And mark your calendars...
