SEPTEMBER RECAP 🍎

The end of September marked the end of our first month in school! This month, we got acquainted with our classroom, our schedule, our teachers, and each other!

Highlights of our month included an intro to colors and color mixing, learning about letters b and c, doing a letter scavenger hunt, painting, and crayon melting and molding. We also moved our bodies lots this month, both with dance room activities and with fun at the park!

What a great way to kick off the year! We can’t wait for everything October will bring 🍁

A FEW STUDIO REMINDERS🧘‍♀️

As we settle into a new semester, we want to share a few reminders to help keep classes running smoothly and make Sanctuary a welcoming space for everyone.

Please remember to pre-register for classes, check in when you arrive, and wait for the previous class to fully exit before entering the hot room. If you need to leave the hot room during class, we ask that you do not reenter until class has ended.

When parking, please leave all numbered spots available for Armory Lofts tenants. The lower gravel lot and upper city lot are available for class participants.

Thank you for respecting our studio guidelines and helping us create a clean, calm, and enjoyable space for our entire Sanctuary community. We appreciate you!

Can’t believe Evelyn is old enough to dance 🥹

I can’t tell you how unbelievably healing it is to give her the things that I never had. I’m not crying, you are. 🧑‍🩰🌸🥰

60(ish) hours of choreography, countless laughs, too many sore muscles, and the sweetest week with SDC. 🩷

I’m constantly amazed by these dancers and so incredibly thankful to have you all in my life. What a gift it is to do what I love with people I love. ✨

Kennady auditioned for her first solo before Nationals. And we found out last week she was selected for a solo. We are excited to see what Miss Jesse has in store for her and this brought to life. Really proud of her. Sometimes it’s hard to believe she’s only 5 years old and has only been dancing for 17 months. We are excited to see her shine next season. Preparation starts NOW! 💜
