The practice choreographies of 2026 until now with mah boisss, we had some pretty spicy R&Ds 🔥 It's important to remember that it was a strong year, not just a year of endings. ❤️‍🩹

I usually do these only at the end of each year, but it's my bday today, so ima do whatever I want 😂 But anyways, I started this series in the beginning to keep myself accountable with my training and to celebrate my growth in Sandbox.

Seems fitting to close series with the end of Sandbox, after all it'll probably be weird to still be posting training clips in the space at the end of the year when it would've been a few months after the closing.

Looking at each year by itself I'm always pretty hard on myself that I'm not progressing as much as I felt I could. But looking back as a whole over 5 years, I think I did pretty good!

They ain't perfect, but I'm proud of how far I have brought my Jackknife and Icy Cork. And now it's time to take my training back into the streets ❤️‍🩹 Lets gooooo

P.S. Fight Choreo Compilation coming right up!

Here's what I chose to do for my final choreo prac during the overnight closing session, a group fight with mah bois 🔥 an absolutely unhinged chaos 😂😂

The intention was to include inspirations of films we watched tgt recently that we loved, as well as new takedown technique we made last week, built around the group fight system that we developed together last month.

A hella fun one to memorialise the space and what it was 🥹❤️❤️ Editing this i had almost forgotten for a moment that everything is already torn down.

But i suppose that's the beauty of what we do, every single piece of practice we had done there is a snapshot frozen in time, eternally preserved of who we were then, how we moved, and what we believed in.

Sandbox Training Ground 🏰

All the stars aligned and in my 20s, I was a stuntman because of this space and met the craziest group of people that I had the opportunity to learn from and train with. It was a chaotic and intense 3 years, training 3-5x a day with weekly overnights to start the first training early. Martial arts, gymnastics, Wires, acrobatics, auditions and creating Pre-viz that could rival professional short films, what a time to be alive 🔥

I really learnt so much from everyone here and though I haven’t been down for a while, it is such a shame to have to say goodbye to that creepy building. @pepsgoh and @officially.tiffanyyongwt thank you for this, we owe you for all the memories made and friendships forged 🙏 May whatever you touch next be as beautiful as this.

@kenjitanigaki -san + Sonomura-san’s Furious-inspired choreography with @nicholasxlee and @jellyfiash_jes on cam 🤩

Been going crazy with the choreos lately, perhaps the closing of the space @sandboxtrainingground is pushing us to our limits 🔥

(We’re both wearing @saibasupplies merch too 😋)

Practice choreo between camp workshops, choreo concept started by @cayden.kong to be @atribe_stunt inspired while utilising the vocabulary learned from the workshop today taught by @fouractionfilmstudio , and then i injected abit of @joe_taslim vibes in the mix it to try imitating his grappling body language in The Furious, so so fun 🤩

Deadman? Deader-man?

As if the deadman wreck wasn’t painful enough, we had to make it terminal.
