I’m always so inspired by the artists I work with, who push me and themselves to go above and beyond. And @sandeefacy has been working SO HARD with me at @thehousestudiomc over the last 18 months. We’ve been making a GREAT record. Certainly some of MY best work on great songs with great performances by Sandee. To see her land at number 2 behind Keith is massive. I’m so proud for her and the work we’ve done. I encourage you all to go listen! (And great to see @thepleasuresmusic right up there too. Another brilliant album).

August came in like a whirlwind and left just as fast… Had family over from Australia, showed them around Nashville, and traveled out to Memphis and LA. Snuck in some solid cowrites between the miles, shared the stage at The Listening Room with friends, and hit a few more writers rounds and events. Big highlight—Sandee Facy’s album (which I cowrote in full) landed at #2 on the Australian ARIA and AIR charts 🙌 Went on some fun dates with my gorgeous wife @missmiawallis, and we also snuck in a trip to Chicago together. They’ve clearly never been to @thetoffintown This little gem is right on Swanston Street, which makes it easy to get to from anywhere in the city and one of the BEST venues for post-show snacks. Plus, the room itself is iconic, with plenty of dance floor space and plush booths to slip into if you need a break from the boogie.
