The man, Jozef!

The man, Jozef! A legend in Roermond, Jozef is known as a true poet. With his bars he puts into razor-sharp words everything that's going on inside him. Hard and tender at the same time, this man has it all. To be honest, it's all hard to fully grasp, so you'd better come and see it for yourself!

[Jozef is a rapper who knows how to make the weight of life exactly light enough.
With subjects ranging from drug use to drinking coffee, Jozef's lyrics feel universal, introspective and poetic all at once.
Where spoken word and modern boom bap seem to meet, it sounds like a Dutch-language Mac Miller and Earl Sweatshirt collab coming through your speakers.]

ADEV op de pont! 22 oktober 12:00 - 14:00 uur CS - IJplein

This year, ADEV is doing something special...
Namely, a Ferry ADEV party, right on the ferry of course!
This Thursday from 12:00 to 14:00, a few sets will be played at the ADEV pre-party on the ferry.
Hop on the ferry and come dance and DE-COMMERCIALIZE DANCE CULTURE ❤️

A quick side note regarding safety:
If it gets too crowded, we will have to turn people away. It’s still a means of transport, and if the pre-party inconveniences regular commuters, we will unfortunately have to refuse entry to some dancers. Regular commuters come first!

MRM X PATTERN X DA KILLAZ - ADEV MASSIVE 🔊🔊🔊

We’re beyond stoked to announce our lineup for ADEV this Saturday in Amsterdam Noord…..

Lineup is absolutely stacked to the brim - consisting of @nattylou_dnb, @voxidnb, @lavancelvb, @_bara.dj, @prodace.music, @phoibe.flac, @selwyn.drums, Pattern crew and of course yours truly, MRM. Genuinely no words for this. Expect free party shenanigans and bring ur dancing boots (as always!!)

All the stops have been pulled out - expect a thumping soundsystem powered by @pattern.systems, some seriously high-end decor designed by the incredible Killaz, and of course rolling sub-pressure basslines, ultra precision snares & big vibes all round. We’ll be playing and dancing until the sun goes down and hope to see as many of you there as possible 👺👺‼️

We’re going above and beyond this year to take 174 and rave music to the streets of Amsterdam in true anarchist & anti-establishment fashion - soooo much love to everyone involved in making this happen, from those working hard behind the scenes, the DJs - and of all you lot in advance for coming to dance with us. Also big shoutout to @kernbouw for sponsoring too, this build would not have been possible without you!!

This will be one for the books. Start time 13:00. See you there.

Is. ORBIFIC!!

The holy duo NOYA en PJK!

[Noya is no stranger to the drum ‘n bass scene. As one of the main characters of MRM, he plays the stars out of the sky, literally. With performances at Melkweg and Parallel, among others, he’s unstoppable. This Jump-Up legend is not to be messed with: with his lightning-fast skills he destroys every turntable he comes across. His partner in crime PJK is a relative newcomer to the scene, but definitely no stranger! With his debut at Melkweg last January, he showed that he sets the bar high. From Jump-Up to UK drill, nothing is too much to ask.]

Hip-hop, drum ‘n bass, of allebei?

WOLF PAX is a big player in the drum ‘n bass scene. Not from Limburg, but definitely from the south! As an MC for Liquicity and Polyphonic, among others, he shares the stage with the big guys. With us he’s not just hosting, he’s also bringing his own act. Hip-hop, drum ‘n bass, or both? We can’t wait to see what’s coming...

———

The phrase “Amsterdam heeft je beschadigd” (Amsterdam has damaged you) actually started as a spontaneous outburst aimed at @sander.troost (SÆNDO), during a conversation about how we’d love to see a multi-genre event where people can enjoy a broader spectrum of music than your typical (insert genre) night. The kind of night where everyone listens to the same type of music all evening, and the moment it strays even a few bpm from the genre on the flyer, people treat it as sacrilege.

“AHJB” wants to play with exactly that idea and offer a broader spectrum of artists and music in one night. “Anything goes!”
We hope your ears are open to new sounds.

<3 Mellowmezz

[Based in Roermond, multi-genre musician MellowMezz loves pushing boundaries, and he’s coming to let you hear it on home turf. No instrument is safe from his curiosity. From band member to rapper to DJ, he does it all! Melkweg, Skatecafe, Azijnfabriek: he plays everywhere.]

The one and only RHUIZ! Wae weit, bringk ze get lekkers mit.

I always thought Limburg was boring, just not for me. So moving to Amsterdam was one of the best choices I've ever made. I've been living here for about 7 years now and haven't regretted it for a single day. And yet, Limburg keeps pulling me back. Maybe Amsterdam has damaged me? Time to bring both worlds together!

That was the idea @mellowmezz and I had, and now we finally get to announce it. AMSTERDAM HEEFT JE BESCHADIGD (Amsterdam has damaged you). A multigenre party experiment at the Azijnfabriek where we literally throw EVERYTHING together. From punk to RnB and from Drum 'n Bass to Hip-Hop. DJs, rappers and bands, truly everything is on the menu this night!

We can't wait to share more about this with you.
Get your tickets now because you don't want to miss this, link in bio!
See you soon ;))

[Prepare yourselves for SÆNDO, the underground's exotic enigma and paradise bird of multigenre mayhem. When he's not organizing free raves as the founder of MRM or making magazines with Underdam, he's melting faces with a chaos of breaks, deep 140 shellers, a hint of hyperpop and a sprinkle of four-on-the-floor. Five years in, he has stormed venues like Melkweg, Skatecafe and Levenslang.] Colorful two-tone poster with psychedelic lettering
