Since most of my friends are younger than me, let me just tell you… don’t be scared to get older. This is what life at 50 can look like. ✨❤️✨

I wanted to share some summer highlights from my 50th year on this planet.

First, my favorite mini festival brought me massive amounts of joy by being able to dress up to the theme Fever Dream, spend time with some of my faves (old and new friends), hosting a super intimate Beyond the Surface and experiencing the best karaoke stage/crowd ever!

Couture birthday party celebration for @gamma__sky in the Tempelhofer Feld where we all got to wear his gorgeous headpieces and listen to live violin by @felipe.krc with a gorgeous sunset to match the vibe.

Boat party with friends and @kimifromtheinternet and @qzen.dj making everybody dance into the sunset. Started as an alternative bday for @krossthekris that stuck as a new tradition I’m not mad about.

Then I had a bucketlist item checked off and got to see a total eclipse!!! This one was seen in Mallorca in 38C / 100F… 😅 Getting to see the eclipse sunset was such a vibe.. no glasses needed and what a wicked view in front of the Mediterranean Sea.

Then the day following the eclipse we went straight from the plane to Berlin and jumped into the Havel river for 4 days for our yearly kayak trip. This year’s smaller group was a change from past years where we had over 20 friends, but it proved to be so much more chill of an experience and still full of beautiful memories.

And now… I have so much more to look forward to. I feel so grateful for these moments and for the privilege to live my life with such fullness and joy when the world seems to be burning and flooding all around me. I cherish these moments.

Weeee…. It’s out. Skywater - Blue.

@weareskywater

It all started as a jam session… a few Live gigs, many studios hours and Kimi’s fabulous mixing work later - our first EP „Blue“ drops on @kino.kosmos.records

Working with you @kimifromtheinternet is a mix of effortless weaving, sober tripping, and yes - as you said - dreaming. Grateful to you and our friendship! Much more to come 🤍
