Had a wonderful time celebrating our friends’ incredible accomplishments! 🎉❤️

We celebrated @sandraa_mani amazing run as Kate in Good People with @4.chairstheatre and @brandon_the_savant new book, Thirteen Layers - a revealing story about his life with autism . Although I had never met Brandon before, I already felt like I knew him after listening to his book on YouTube! 📖✨

We started the evening with a complimentary ride on Navy Pier’s famous Ferris Wheel 🎡, taking in breathtaking views of Chicago’s skyline as the sun set. 🌇 Then it was off to one of our favorite spots, Carson’s Ribs, for dinner, drinks, and more celebrating! 🥂🍽️

After dinner, we headed back to Navy Pier for an incredible fireworks show! 🎆 And in a special Chicago moment, Navy Pier even paid homage to BTS by choreographing the fireworks to “Swim.” 💜

A beautiful evening filled with friendship, laughter, delicious food, spectacular views, and celebrating people we’re so proud of. Truly a perfect night! ✨🥂❤️

Thank you to the artistic, technical and production team of 4 Chairs Theatre’s Good People!

And deep gratitude to the “good people” who came to the show to share our story.
You are the reason we create art.

We are sad to leave Southie, but it will stay in our hearts forever.

Stay tuned for what’s next….

“You know what, Margaret? I actually do remember that story about her stealing that turkey…” 🦃

A farewell to Stevie and the wonderful GOOD PEOPLE team who made this production the spectacular experience I dreamed it would be- @4.chairstheatre , thank you for everything!

This process re-dedicated my discipline to acting as craft, introduced me to new and exciting opportunities I’ve never even dreamed of, and most importantly- I got to meet some *damn* Good People.

Cheers to you, Southie.

Good People follows Margaret (Margie) Walsh (played quite convincingly by Jodi Kingsley), a middle aged single mother in South Boston who loses her low wage Dollar Store job and faces eviction in the face of caring for her special needs daughter. Newly unemployed, she reaches out to Mike (well played by Bryan Breau), her old boyfriend who escaped their rough neighborhood to become a successful doctor, hoping he can help her find work. Margie shows up for what turns out to be a cancelled party at Mike’s comfortable suburban home where she meets his wife Kate (perfectly portrayed by Sandra Adjoumani). At that point, the play unspools into a tense, funny, and uneasy reunion that forces all three to confront the role of luck, class, and personal responsibility in how “good” people can end up on such different paths.
