Ride The Cyclone

You don't have much time, the show closes October 25th.

You don't expect a production this good in such a small suburban theater. But there it is, 90 minutes of high energy music and laughs wrapped in what most of us would consider a tragedy. This was so good we could see it again.

If you haven't been to the Metropolis in Arlington Heights, it's a wonderful, newer, small (329 seats) venue where every seat is excellent.

Local actor (and friend) Peyton Owen is one of the stars and delivers another memorable performance. It's a great show (top notch cast)at a very reasonable price. The Daily Herald gave it four stars **** and said it's one of the best productions they've seen in the last 20 years.

Easy, free parking. Great dining choices all around.

@youreoutmovie was a great time, and many of our talent really stepped up and helped in many ways. With crew being cast, and cast being crew, it’s been a wild experience making a film in the pandemic. Please consider checking out the film on Amazon, Apple TV, Tubi, or YouTube!

During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we continue to honor the Asian Americans who made You're OUT! possible. We'll turn our focus from our amazing director/producer, @ladiekproductions, to one of our leading men, @edwardjkaihatsu.

Ed plays middle-aged divorcee Alex in our film. One moment he tickles our funny bone and the next he tugs at our heart strings with his believable and endearing vulnerability.

Ed is a proud Japanese American whose own grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles were forcibly placed in a Japanese internment camp during World War II. This left a lasting impression on Ed, and he is set to film “For the Time Being," which portrays this tragic period in American history.

Ed has done numerous commercials, industrial productions, and recently completed an audio recording of "Paul Miki" sponsored by the @aaartsalliance and a web series called "Truck It!"

When he isn't acting, Ed can be found coaching fencing, teaching at the University of Illinois, University of Pennsylvania, SECA in Shanghai, Ida Crown Jewish Academy, and Glenbrook High Schools.

We recommend being "EN GARDE" for Ed as he continues to make a name for himself in the fencing and acting worlds.

I directed a feature length film! @youreoutmovie Yes, a movie! You should watch on your favorite streaming platforms! We are on them all but Netflix. @youreoutmovie It’s cute and funny and sometimes a little sexy. Check it out. Also, you may spot me pulling a Hitchcock/M. Night. That’s right, watch the film to see me on the screen too! I play like a dozen background roles and have a speaking role as well. That’s right. Director, producer, one of the editors, actress, casting director… @gettyimages from our private wrap party screening event thingy we had at @facetschicago last July… yes, I’m just getting to the “Red Carpet” photos. There were many more than what I was able to post, but you get the idea!
