THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT. 🎬✨

The 3rd Bimonthly Edition of BONDED BY FILMS, PART II from the United Productions Film Festival of NYC @upffnyc26 has come to a close, and our hearts are filled with gratitude.

To everyone who joined us and filled the evening with your presence, enthusiasm and support — thank you.

To our filmmakers, producers, directors, actors, artists and creative teams: thank you for trusting us with your stories and allowing them to take flight on our screen. Your work is the heart of this festival.

Our sincere gratitude to the William V. Musto Cultural Center, its staff and team for once again opening its doors to us and providing a home where cinema, artists and community can come together.

And a very special thank you to the Mayor of Union City Brian P. Stack & boards of commissioners, New Jersey, for the continued support of arts, culture and initiatives that create opportunities for our artistic community.

Every edition reminds us why this festival exists: to discover voices, build bridges, create opportunities and bring people together through the power of storytelling.

The screen may have gone dark for the evening…

but the stories continue. 🎞️

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Behind every frame is a story of connection between the living and those we’ve lost, and between the human heart and something greater than ourselves.
This image captures a beautiful moment behind the scenes: the love and intention that goes into bringing this story to life. Saint Prayer reminds us that even when someone is no longer physically with us, the bond we share with them can continue through faith, memory, and prayer.
As writer/director Frances Lozada says:
“At its heart, this is a story about love, sacrifice, and how prayer connects us to those who are no longer here.”
We are pouring our hearts into bringing Saint Prayer to the screen - a story about the power of love to transcend pain, loss, and even death. Donations being accepted through Zelle: saintprayerthemovie@gmail.com (Frances Lozada-Gonzalez).

Final Day. Two presentations to go. Bittersweet, but excited to keep pushing forward on this piece.

It has been another wonderful journey over the past two weeks and I have learned so much, both about myself and my work. Externally grateful and humbled by the faith, generosity, and talents of this group of beautiful humans.

I love these people SO much. When I texted them back in early May to see if they would be down to work on this play again, they all immediately said YES. Mary even squeezed it in between her wedding and her honeymoon, while Sandra flew back from her annual Puerto Rico vacation. This cast is family.

As always, incredibly humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support and faith of these beautiful humans.

Day Four. Spent the first hour just discussing the journey of the piece and the layers to the characters. Perpetually grateful for the brilliant minds and open hearts of this incredible group of people who are helping me bring my play to beautiful life. To be part of such a collaborative, creative space driven by true Deaf culture, language, and artistry is a gift. One more week to go.
