What an amazing night it was to be recognized as a HOF’er, and what an honor for me it was to go in with all the legends in the room, it truly was an honor in itself for me to cap off the night.

The speech was harder for me to get out than some of my fight were. It was a great and emotional night for my friends family and I. You know I had that song playing in my head and walking to the stage with a strut.

I really appreciate everyone who has reached out and sent their heart felt messages.

It was an amazing time in my life that I was able to share with you all, and hopefully I was able to motivate and inspire some of ya’ll along the way.

It’s been a long few weeks away from home and not over yet. Being away from your Family on special days hits a lot harder. Happy I got to be home to celebrate with my siblings for our Birthdays. Got to spend Mothers Day with my amazing Wife @bre_oneill who does it all for our little Family. Lots of FaceTiming on my Birthday with our little man Charlie. My Ironworker Brothers took me out for a little dinner to celebrate. And we finally got to hang with my Mom for a little Mother’s day Brunch.

Been extremely busy with work while away, so it’s a little late. Wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who reached out with calls, texts, and messaging. This experience has been surreal for me. From a kid who got in the ring at 20 to start a new adventure- Mohawk & dancing to the ring, with a few good swings up his sleeve….turned into a fruitful career. Made some money, won a few belts, created amazing relationships, and got the trophy Wife. What more could I have asked for? Unfortunately I had so much more to give, and everything got cut short. I gave my heart to my city and the sport, so being recognized by my peers is an incredible honor. It really let’s a guy know that all the sacrifices and tough times, were very much worth it. We did something special. I can happily ride off into the sunset with no regrets. I gave it my all. The next chapter.

Again, this is an unbelievably great honor for me. Thank you again to Hitz Boxing, Bobby Hitz, my trainers, all my friends, Family, sponsors, and all the amazing fans! You all know who you are. You all forever have a piece of my heart.

A year ago, I was a broken man. This past year gave me all I could handle. Its been an emotional one, really had me feeling down and out. Part of who I am has been taken away. I learned a lot about my self, and I grew. Although my vision is going to be different from now on. I’ve Always felt like my vision has been bigger than the bigger picture. Life comes at you fast sometime. Ive always tried to motivate others and give out positive vibes, but I had to dig deep to find that for my self. I’ve been down before. But I’ve always been positive, and figure a way to bounce back and make the best of the situation. It’s going to be an uphill push from now on. With my wife to be, my friends and Family behind me. I know I’ll make the best of what’s to come. In down and dark times, always remember to live, love, and laugh. Better times will come. Cheers to the next chapter! “Sweetness” 34!! #ImGettingOld
