The professor becomes the student.

From cartwheels to plies to being the Fiddler on The Roof, I couldn’t ask for a better experience and training. I am super thankful for what the @neighborhoodplayhouse in NYC has taught me and the countless talented, driven, and caring friends I have made during my time there!

I don’t think there is a better acting skill let alone life skill than being present with someone - I am grateful for my teachers at the playhouse for carrying forth Sanford Meisner’s legacy. I will take the lessons and friendships with me forever ❤️

A week ago was our opening night of Stop Kiss!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, shared the experience with us, and helped bring this story to life. Your presence in the audience meant everything.

A special thank you to our @neighborhoodplayhouse family! Your support, love, and energy filled the space in such a meaningful way. So many familiar faces, so much encouragement, and so much heart.

We’re still on cloud nine!

“Something is stirring, shifting ground
It’s just begun
Edges are blurring, all around
And yesterday is done
Feel the flow, hear what’s happening
We’re what’s happening
Don’t you know, we’re the movers and we’re the shapers
We’re the names in tomorrow’s papers
Up to us now to show ‘em”

Happy Thursday Laurie Lovers! We are continuing our deep dive into Laurie's incredible album, Time Between The Time.
Here is another brilliant clip from Laurie's 4-week engagement at Rainbow and Stars in 1993 where she performed songs from her new album Time Between The Time!
Here she sings a medley of Soon It's Gonna Rain from the Fantasticks paired with Rain Sometimes accompanied by the ever-brilliant Bruce W. Coyle! Big shout out to Sandy Faison, Laurie's friend and Annie Alum!
Enjoy! Please share your thoughts and memories of this incredible album!!
