Six string Burky family banjo (1910s Gretsch) brought back to life! This was a banjo that one of Kadra’s grandpa Vernon’s cousins played. Super satisfying and cool to have it making music again — especially getting to join my Vernon on the fiddle tonight. Much thanks to Bob Smakula for the restoration.

Throwback to 1992, in the border region of Scotland and England. Where we conquered the rolling hills (“we will walk no hill!”), ate haggis, drank a few pints and wee drams, and had the time of our lives. #oldfriends #scotland #england #throwbackthursday

Throwback to 1992, when a group of hackers thought it would be fun to "play nine" in a rain and wind storm on the Old Course. We were so terrible and slowing groups down that we finally got asked to leave. But I can say "I've played at St. Andrews!" ⛳️ #throwbackthursday #walkinthepark

I went home last week with the intention to show off some little gems of where I come from. We covered a lot of ground and collected a lot of great stories (responsibly). Here are the animal highlights.

And Thanks to Aunt Sandy for letting us stay at her cabin with the ol one-horned deer. #daretobesquare #helvetiawv
