Tonight, downtown Azusa transformed into a Winter Wonderland filled with festive holiday spirit—including a bit of snow (wink, wink)! Our Holly Jolly Sock Run & Contest brought out incredible creativity. Congratulations to our winners:

🥇 Scotty - 1st Place
🥈 Sandy - 2nd Place

We were thrilled to welcome several new runners and walkers to the club! Welcome Raul, Liz, Jason, Monica, Cynthia, Alyssa, Lucy, Genesis, and Francisco. Thank you for spending your evening with us.

We also celebrated several runners hitting their 10th check-in milestone: Julia, George, Delight, and Maria—your consistency has paid off! Welcome officially to the DHRC!

We couldn’t forget to cheer for our Holiday Half Marathon 5K/10K finishers—and celebrate their achievements. Congratulations to those who PR’d and placed in their age groups, especially Rigo, who continues to amaze us with his incredible running skills!

A huge shoutout to Hydrate RX @hydrate.rx for sharing the benefits of hydration and to the wonderful team at Azucanela Churreria @azucanelachurros for the post-run warm beverages —Atole and Café de Olla were a perfect pairing with the buñuelos.

Special thanks to Coach Miguel @_miguelangelsanchez for providing free post-run/walk massages and helping our club members recover and stay strong. We appreciate you!

Lastly, thank you to RunWave’s @runwavemedia Juan and Ana for joining us and capturing DHRC’s passion for fitness and fun, and for connecting people to the Los Angeles running world.

The evening was filled with laughter, holiday games, and fun prizes, creating unforgettable memories. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
